Any people who have interviewed at TC have any insight into the interview?
Any OOS interviewees have tips on travel/transportation arrangements?
Interesting article for us oos folks who are thinking about going here. Didn't change my opinion, still depends on the dollars, but interesting nonetheless.

Waitlisted at Duluth today. Pretty bummed.
I'll see you there!!! I'm OOS but I've been to Minneapolis several times for soccer, vacations, etc. Good luck!Hey I just got offered an interview for 1/6. Anybody else interviewing that day or week? Also, I grew up in Mpls and currently live here. I moved to Seattle for undergrad, and came back because I think Minneapolis is an amazing place. Please let me know if you have any questions about the Twin Cities and whether or not you will like it here. I could probably write you a book about what living in this city is like. 🙂
Thanks, you too!I'll see you there!!! I'm OOS but I've been to Minneapolis several times for soccer, vacations, etc. Good luck!
Fingers crossed for both of us!!You will probably hear this week, or so I hope 🙂 Cuz that would mean I would hear back in two ish weeks as well 🙂
Congrats! If I don't get into cclcm I'm 80% sure I'm going here. We should discover a virus and call it the HPE-Sisko. Sounds virusy.Interviewed 10/18 and got the call today! I can't believe this is real life!!!

I interviewed on the 18th as well and just received a call from dean Patel!! Best gift for a Friday! Good luck to all those still waiting!
Accepted today!!! Interviewed 11/11 and got a call from Dean Patel about an hour ago!
Super excited and shocked!
Great job!!! Millions of congrats! You totally deserved it! Are you IS or OOS? If you don't mind sharing more infor, that will be much appreciated.
Congratulations! That's so exciting. So you interviewed November 11? That's a much faster turnaround than it seems like most people are getting, any indication of why it was so quick?Accepted today!!! Interviewed 11/11 and got a call from Dean Patel about an hour ago!

I interviewed 10/25 and nothing yet.Anyone who has interviewed on 10/25 or 10/28 hear back yet?
Captain Sisko, did you get the email on Friday letting accepted students know that they have not yet met to discuss scholarships? See, all of your anxiety has been for naught!
I interviewed on 10/25 as well. I don't think that the committee has made decisions for our group yet, or at least, I haven't heard of anyone from our interview getting a decision.I interviewed 10/25 and was really hoping to hear back today... guess I'll have to wait for next week. Anyone who interviewed 10/25 or 10/28 get anything yet (emails, letters, calls)?
Can anyone give any insight as to what we need to know going into it? My interview at UNM was very rural knowledge and state healthcare heavy. Is the TC interview going to be about the same? Just curious as to what they're 'emphasis' is, I couldn't really get an accurate read from the website. Also, I'm in a bit of need of advice, I got accepted to UNM already, should I mention that at the interview or not?Feel free to PM me, I'd actually probably prefer it because I'm not always on here but I do get emails with PMs.Thanks 🙂 And congrats to all that have been accepted!!! Dreams really do come true!

As the matter of fact I did get a call from dean Patel on Nov 20 with decision. I honestly don't know how this whole thing works. One of the interviewee I know from our group got a call a week after the interview. Just be patient and I'm sure you will get your call soon.🙂I interviewed on 10/25 as well. Hey guys, anyone have any tips on where I might consider living? My wife and I prefer a smallish house, would like an easy commute, preferably bike or light rail to the med school. We're tired of suburbia and we'd also like to be closer to bars and restaurants, ie walking distance. Does this sound doable? Any advice on neighborhoods?
Thanks!
Does this mean you've settled on UMN?
I'd suggest checking out the East Bank/Nicollet Island area. It's one of the most walkable neighborhoods of Minneapolis, with access by foot to grocery stores, tons of restaurants and bars, and numerous parks. The demographic is predominately young professionals (vs. the undergraduate heavy neighborhoods directly around campus). While there's no lightrail connection to campus, there are buses and bike paths. I don't think there are typically many available houses, but there are some great townhouses and unique apartment/condo complexes!
