to withdraw do we have to send back that letter that we got in our acceptance packet or can we just email them?

I sent that letter back and received a confirmation email a few days later. You could probably still email!

Hi everyone. Congratulations to all those accepted and for those who didn't hear great news, don't worry and keep your head up!

I was accepted a while back and am just wondering if anyone has set up a facebook page or anything for matriculating students to connect. Maybe this is somewhere in the thread but 28 pages is a lot to search through! if anyone could direct me to the page or answer my question, I'd be appreciative.

Thanks!

Rejected March 6th. OOS, LizzyM ~67.

They told me I was small-pooled in the rejection letter, but I was never sent a small-pool e-mail lol. Oh well, good luck to the rest of y'all!

does anyone know how to RSVP for a guest for second look day?

do you all have any info about how MCW takes into account multiple mcats?

I spoke with someone on the phone yesterday and she said we should be receiving login info hopefully this week or next week and then our package will be viewable sometime shortly after that
Got the log in information today..

Did anyone have trouble logging into the financial aid portal? When I tried making my account it said that my info couldn't be validated. I'll have to give them a call.

Deciding b/w UWSMPH and MCW. After reading past threads, I'm leaning towards UW, but if MCW gives me a better package I'd consider going there. UWSMPH is just muccch cheaper.

Are there any differences in quality between the two?

I don't have financial aid package available yet either.

Hey just a general question to the forum, but I was thinking of applying (3.6 cGPA/3.4 sGPA/31 MCAT) and was wondering if anyone with a similar low sGPA as mine had been admitted?

the nonrefundable $100 deposit is due by april 30th which means it would need to be mailed beforehand unless there's an online way of paying....

Found out today that I'm in the bottom half of the waitlist. Pretty bummed.

Withdrew yesterday! Best of luck to those of you on the waitlist!

For anyone who got accepted and is currently completing graduate level courses - I understand acceptances said to maintain your academic excellence, does this mean "C" or better? Have you heard of them rescinding an acceptance for getting a "C"?

I'm pretty sure it's fine as long as you don't fail.

I just received the financial aid log-in info but I am on the waitlist. Is this a sign that I should be getting an acceptance soon or does the fin aid office send this email to everyone on the waitlist?

I received it and I'm not in the 1st quartile

I also received it; First Quartile, but can't actually log on.

Tryna decide between SLU and MCW. Any current students have any insight?

Did you just get accepted off the waitlist at either school? (since the selection passed on Thursday)

I actually had this same option and I ended up choosing MCW. All the options for research (lots of NIH-funded research compared to SLU) and MCW's clinical training were what did it for me.

I got off the SLU waitlist on Friday! I'm from STL though which is probably my biggest factor in staying back

Both schools are comparable. You can't really put a value on being close to home. I know that if I get off the waitlist for the school close to my home which isn't even ranked, I will go there.
