MATCHED! SEE YALL IN THE FALL! 🙂
Just called, and they said they will send is an update by the end of today!Does anyone know how the waitlist works? Are we automatically put on it if we don't match or do we get an email about it?
When my friend got off the waitlist last year, he just got was available! He just took the spot of who ever withdrew!Do people who get in off the wait list have any shot at getting the more sought after places for 3rd/4th year (Houston/Austin)? Or are they just automatically assigned a place based on availability?
You got waitlist email from TMDSAS or TAMU?I just received an email about being on the waitlist. Is there a way to find out what number you are on the waitlist?

honors/pass/fail is used according to the PowerPoint from the interview. Also, 70>is pass and top 15% of class are given grade of honors.Hey, quick wuestion:
The new curriculum has the preclerkship 18 months as pass/fail, right?
Or is it high pass/pass/fail?
Gl!!waitlisted yesterday. will be sending in my update personal statement and additional letter of recommendation as soon as possible once i'm back in texas.
There's a stapled packet we got at interview day; it has specialty, institution, and city/state of residency match from Class of '14. Is that it? b/c I know there's a different sheet that only has specialty matching.Does anybody know where/how to find the past few years of match lists for A&M? I can only find lists that show what specialty people went into (and whether or not they stayed in texas), but what I'd like to see is what specific programs people matched too.
Can any current students help with this??
Yeah, they gave us both; one with just specialties and one with more detain on the schools and locations matched, based on specialty.I think they may be referring to these match lists, which show the specialties A&M students went into, but not the institution:

That site also shows match lists for the other schools if anybody wanted to see:

I'm debating the same thing... I would prefer Houston for its hospitals but I have few questions about the Houston campus, will there be an actual A&M campus other than the one building? I'm leaning toward it now but the lack of A&M buildings and resources is kinda worrying me, I feel like i would be lost in there!Anyone know what campus they want to choose? debating b/w BCS and Houston as a first choice, partly b/c I'm from Houston, but also b/c it might be easier to stay in BCS...
Exactly. Basically how I feel lolI'm debating the same thing... Also where would we take exams and such?
My other choice is Bryan simply bc I think it's easier to stick in one place rather than jump around, and also AIM sounds nice.
I'm really excited but little freaking out about the campus preference 🙂

Does anybody know if pre-matched students get priority with regards to the campus preferences?
Yeah but then along the side it said something like "if you are entering medical or dental school you might want to" so I'd like to know the answer to this as well!@Command or anybody else who knows, do we have to provide our parent's information on the FAFSA we submit? (It says if you are filing as an independent that you don't need to)

Okay forgive me: We fill out fafsa but we don't have to do anything on our portal?I asked specifically about this part as well. The financial aid & scholarships office replied with....
"There is no need to include your parent's information on you FAFSA as it will not have any affect on your financial aid eligibility."
Yeah. On Fafsa it recommends you put it on there if you're going to graduate schools and such. I'm going to put my parents once they file, because although I have a work study job, I don't file for taxes. No I don't believe we have any portal requirements right now other than ranking our sites. But I am actually going to call in next week about the "parent info." They said it doesn't effect financial aid, but does that also refer to scholarships? Such as, from the medschool.
