Just got II email! The first few available interview dates are: Monday Sept 8, Friday Sept 12, Sunday Sept 20, Monday 22, Wednesday Sept 24, Friday Sept 26.

I'm an average IS student with GPA (3.7) and MCAT (30). My MCAT is pretty unbalanced (12P8V10B) so that may be hopeful for some.
I was verified around June 7.
Submitted my secondary on July 12.

Wish everyone luck! So happy! My first II!!!

Congrats! Isnt it weird that ii are sent out this late?! (At night)

This is so sad 🙁 it looks like I had the best chance here based on stats and MSAR stuff. I'm somewhat of an underdog though. See my MDApps for stats.

Idk what they want :/ this whole admissions process is weird. They showed me the door late last year and refused to give me any feedback! It pissed me off, because I felt I wasted my 100$. I'm not sure if I will even submit my secondary here again. You're from PA so you should have luck at Drexel, Temple, Penn State and Jefferson!! Keep your head up!

Hoping for PSU, Drexel and Temple! Didn't apply to Kimmel/JMC. I emailed about admissions counseling @GOK<3... but now that you've had that experience...

If I am spending 100$ on a secondary (which is mighty hefty for a student), the least I expect is feedback as to how I can improve. Many will say they don't owe you anything, but I think it is the right thing to do. I hope you get some love from those schools @stickshifthonda! I would love to attend any of those schools myself! Also not applying to Jefferson since they average.

So in sum, this process baffles me as much as it does you!
 
Oh that's really nice, they told me they don't "offer specific advice on why an applicant was not offered admission." What a waste of $135.
 
Does anyone know how long they take to process the secondary?

>3.4 gpa + 30, submitted within first few days of receiving the secondary. Spots were open in early September still.

They are not going by complete dates I was complete 7/8. @CharmanderMD what was your breakdown and gpa? Congrats

I really appreciate your honesty your sweet. I have a 11 7 11 with 7 in verbal and a 3.83/3.8 so maybe the II are based on fit. =) hopefully I'll get one soon. I was finished 7/8

I submitted my secondary on July 12, a few days after I got the invite to complete it. I just got the interview invite a few hours ago...I'm IS 3.5 and 35. Someone mentioned the II's may be more based on fit than stats and I'm inclined to agree, I tailored my secondary to really emphasize my interest in working with the underserved and how TCMC would help with that. I don't think I would have gotten an interview otherwise, because there is nothing else particularly exciting about my app...Hope that helps 🙂
 
II! IS, 3.75+ GPA, 33+ MCAT. Very excited to go for an interview. Also does it seem weird that there is a Saturday available for an interview date?

I could be wrong, but I believe TCMC doesn't look at MCAT subscores. Even with your 7 in verbal, your composite is a 29, which is good. Best of luck!
 
Hey fellow applicants! Just getting to this secondary and was wondering how you guys formatted the first essay (Given TCMC's unique mission and values, please tell us why you feel you are a good fit for our institution.) I was thinking about focusing on three things I really like about TCMC and going into depth on those points in three separate but unified paragraphs. Thoughts?
 
anyone knows what the maximum number of LoRs TCMC will take? Thanks!!
 
Hey all! My committee letter doesn't come out till the end of the month, but I have my secondary submitted... do you know if they even review files or consider applicants for interviews before the committee letter is submitted?

I think your app is not complete until they get all of your LORs. Can you call them to clarify everything?
