Also interviewed Dec 5th with no decision yet, so you're not alone! Hopefully good news will come our way eventually..loved the school.
 
Just to be clear, "final decision" has meant acceptance or alternate list this cycle, correct? No record of anyone getting rejected after getting that status?
 
Has anyone been rejected post interview or is it just acceptances and alternate lists?

Accepted applicants will be called and e-mailed at approximately 5 PM EST.

I got an emailed/phonecall acceptance and no physical letter. Where is that? Is it suppoesd to come soon?
 
No I interviewed Dec 8-9 and got accepted Jan 26 but its for the MD-Mph so I think acceptances were on a different schedule but idrk!
 
Will we be notified even if we're waitlisted? My status says that a final decision has been reached
 
Nothing yet....my heart's been pounding the last hour for no reason......
 
FYI, my interviewer didn't call until 7pm EST, so maybe they haven't gotten to you yet!

Edit: clarification - it was a voicemail from 7pm that I didn't see on my phone until ~8:30pm

I was told that they put a lot of people on the alternate list and draw from it quite heavily in season. I think it is ranked, so you can call the admissions office and the dean can let you know what the odds are of your coming off once they're actually pulling people off, especially as it gets closer to may/june and you have to seriously start moving forward on whatever other options you might have.
 
Alt list. Interviewed 1/9. I'm really hoping to get off it once April rolls around.
 
Just got Accepted for MD but I am confused. I only received an email and my status still says under review, is it because I am an MSTP applicant?
 
I interviews on November 10 and still nothing. After calling and inquiring several times I have no idea what to think.

Here is a thought, just hypothesizing here... There are 3 more acceptance release days, so 60 more students will be offered an acceptance on those days combined. Everyone is ranked, so my thought is you are still in the top 60 students ranked thus far with no decision finalized. As more people interview you will either be slotted into accepted or waitlist depending on your ranking. Been trying to wrap my head around it and this seems like it could be a possibility on how it works, but I could be completely off.

I believe DrZeke mentioned earlier that for the later dates, you are actually vying (mostly) for Alternate List places.
