Me too. Though it looks like there's not much OOS love given from Wright State. Which is really disappointing, because I really like their program. 🙁
Anybody know if it's ever a detriment to send a letter of interest? I hear there's no secondary essay, so there's no chance for me to tell them that I'm not just applying randomly; I legitimately like them.

I'm applying here OOS as well, but with strong ties to the state and to the Dayton/Cincinnati area (I don't know if this matters). If I remember correctly, they do not accept application updates, but I don't know about letters of intent? Maybe call or check last year's thread.
I'm applying here oos as well. I have no ties to Ohio (actually have never been to the state lol), but I was under the impression they highly encourage oos applicants even though their oos % is not the highest?

Maybe its more so a self selecting student population then on the adcoms end
Many Ohio schools do. We're a large and relatively uneducated state 😛 (outside of the major cities, anyway) and 7 medical schools = lots of competition.
Think it might be a bit too early for LOI. Chances like this usually end up being a crapshoot..I doubt an LOI would even make into the hands of an adcom member. How unfortunate.

I think last year was just some sort of questionnaire and a fee. I don't think anything has changed, but I'm not 100% certain.

Anyone else not get anything today? I am IS, verified mid June, no FAP.
Nothing here yet (same deal but OOS).
I haven't heard anything either. I believe everyone gets the secondary, so don't freak out.

just received the secondary! I am IS...looks like they are still going out since I was verified by AMCAS on June 12.

did you get a "secondary submitted" e-mail? I paid the fee but I don't think I ever clicked a final submit link. And when I go to the application, it only asks if I want to create a new one.
Were the questions just demographic and background questions with a note saying they will not be used for admissions purposes? I received the separate FAP questionnaire and just want to make sure that I have in fact completed the secondary.

I just got the complete email. I guess they review apps without letters as I have none in yet (cmom med committee! )
I am a bit unsure what their secondary was..was it that questionaire they emailed. I am confused because I received the following email today:
Dear Adimelon,
We have received your Secondary Application to Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Your application is now complete.
AMCAS will inform you when your letters of recommendation have been processed and released to your schools. As soon as they do, we will automatically have them as part of your electronic file. We will not check the status for your letters because AMCAS will inform you of their status. Please remember that we do not accept mailed or emailed updates to applications including transcripts, publications or recent activities. If you are invited for an interview you may bring any updates at that time.
After you have completed your Secondary Application to WSU BSOM you are complete and in review status. Your status will not change unless you are invited for an interview. Interview invitations are extended from September through February. No final decisions will be made until the end of the process in late March.

I think they don't worry about letters either. I'm still missing one of mine and they marked me complete.
I was verified on 6/10 but I didn't designate Wright State until a week ago (7/15). Still haven't received anything from them, but now I'm paranoid that I deleted it with my Spam :/
It might be best to not delete emails during the application cycle. The AAMC recommends using an email solely designated for correspondence to AAMC/med schools and, let me tell you, it is so nice to do it that way! If I have any email on that account I know it is from the app cycle, this includes spam. It helps to keep everything organized and be able to look at previous emails for reference without having to sift through unrelated junk. Just food for thought 🙂

Anyone who had their AMCAS sent after 7/14 to Wright State get the secondary yet?
I am worried that I accidentally lost/deleted my secondary application questionnaire from my spam folder. I was verified on 6/13 and still have not received a secondary. However, I just received my MCAT score on 7/22. Did I miss the secondary? Or is it likely that I have not received a secondary yet because I just got my MCAT score? Anyone else in the same situation?
