To everyone who submitted the secondary--How long did it take to hear back about an II or rejection? Thanks =)

Application completed in early August. To date pin-drop silence. That would make it 3 months and counting 🙂

Complete 8/5. When I select the status tab, it reads, "No decision is currently available."

Should I just assume they've either given me a silent rejection, or that they perhaps somehow have yet to make any decision about my application and, therefore, have not updated my portal decision status?

That is a good point. I do know Drexel gets the most applications, so that can lead to some wonky timetables in terms of when certain applications are processed/reviewed and decisions are made. It just seems a bit strange that after 3 months, there has not been a single change to my application status. No 'under review' or 'on hold', it just remains at 'no decision'.

Does anyone know of individuals who waited months for correspondence and actually received interviews? I just feel like no status change for 3 months is a red flag given my other interviews invitations were sent out late July through August.

Complete since end July. No II yet. Instead got this on the portal a few days ago "The Admissions Committee has reached a decision on your application. A letter will be mailed to your preferred address." what does this mean?

I don't have that status but I honestly wonder if it might be some sort of glitch... I can't imagine that they'd snail mail pre-II rejections. That seems like a lot of work!

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone had seen/heard anything about this new medhound medical school ranking service. I came across it on a premed tumblr but saw that it was all pretty new. Their free trial includes some Drexel stats that look pretty cool. Just wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts about it before I buy the full subscription. Thanks

I was at "is and complete" ever since I submitted my secondary late July and I got an II last week--my first correspondence since submission. You're not necessarily out of the running!

Agreed. I never even reached the "is and complete" stage; I was "no decision" right up until my II this week.

This gives me hope, since my status has yet to change from "no decision" and I thought I'd been passed over entirely. (That might still be true but now I'm slightly less concerned!) Congrats on your interview invite and good luck! 😀

No, they don't accept them pre ii. It's listed on the secondary/website.

From my experience, I was at No Decision for a little while and then switched to you file is an complete

Rejected by snail mail today! Complete early August, LizzyM ~70. It's all good folks, got a few under my belt, so no sweat. Best of luck to everyone in the rest of the cycle 😀
