Accepted just now via email! Interviewed 12/1 and my status changed to "The admissions committee has reached a decision on your application. A letter will be mailed to your preferred address" on 12/18. The email says that the official letter is on its way through snail mail. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

When did your stt changed to under review by a committee member? and when did it change to admission committee?
 
The wait truly is unbearable 🙁

Is there anyone in this forum who interviewed in October who hasn't heard back yet? My status on the portal has been "under review by the admissions committee" w/ no decision made yet for quite a while now, but there are people who interviewed much later than me who've been getting decisions back already.
 
Does anyone know how long II's are available on the portal before you receive the email? I received an interview invite today that had something along the lines of "schedule your interview, if you haven't already" written at the conclusion. Just curious as to how long that offer had been waiting before I was notified.

It changed to under review by a committee member a couple days after my interview, and then changed to admissions committee a week later.

I received an II a couple of weeks ago via the portal and never got a notification email! (The only email I got was a confirmation after I scheduled.)

I got an interview through the portal a while ago too and I just got the email invite today (in addition to the scheduled interview email)

Wait! I lied. I just got an email II today! So for me, it took almost 2 weeks to get the email after it showed up on the portal.

Waitlisted, letter dated 12/21...
I'll take it over a rejection, but still bummer. Congrats to those who got acceptances!

I would give it another week, they might be out until after New Year's. I was complete the same day as you but just got an update (hold) on the 22nd.

Hi y'all

I have had a random thought floating around my head for a bit and wanted to post to get thoughts. I was given the on hold until spring status. I must admit, my eyes glossed over a few times catching up on this thread so this may have been mentioned. Is the hold for spring a courteous gesture to let us know our apps won't be looked at until after the holidays? Maybe that is optimism...

I like Drexel and would like to be invited for an interview. I am hoping that by "spring" they meant early January. LOL.

Looking at last years thread I saw a couple of people who got off a spring hold...but not alot. Sorry to be a downer...but just what I saw last year! Would have liked to have interviewed here.

guys we never know what's going to happen - try to be optimistic - I know it's hard, trust me, I haven't received a single interview, just straight up rejections - but we have to keep hope!!!
 
Waitlist buddies! Did you guys get any notification from Drexel stating they received our letter indicating we wanted to be placed on the waitlist? And therefore have officially been placed on the waitlist? Slightly paranoid they didn't receive my letter from a few weeks ago...

I'm not sure exactly how long after I sent them my letter my status changed, but on my portal now, I do have a new status update thanking me for continuing to remain on the wait list.

If you already interviewed, they'll send you a letter in the mail about whether they decide to accept you/reject you/waitlist you. I got a letter asking whether I wanted to be on the waitlist, so you're supposed to mail the letter back to them to accept the waitlist spot.
 
I interviewed on 11/30 and my application still hasn't been sent to committee. Should I be worried, since people who interviewed in December are hearing back already? Gahhh.
 
Quick question, on everyone's "application summary" page, did it always have this filled in?

Major and Department: Medicine, Integrated Curriculum
Major Concentration: Intdept. Foundations of Med.

For some reason I feel like these two sections were always blank. Or maybe I just never paid any attention to it?

Not necessarily. There have been people in this thread who waited 8 weeks or more post-interview before getting a favorable decision. Those who interviewed in December and heard back before Christmas are in the minority most likely. That being said, it's always good to have a backup plan in mind in case things don't work out. The only "safe" status is an acceptance!

I am unable to find the page on facebook. Is it possible for you to change the security settings?
 
Complete early September. Portal still says "Your file is complete and will be reviewed." Perhaps the spring hold was just for those complete before September?
