For those of you who have interviewed here, do you know if street parking near the school is free? I know that you can park in the visitor's lot for $10 but I was wondering if nearby street parking is available freely or if a permit is required. Thanks!

Accepted by email earlier this afternoon! Interviewed in mid February.

Apologies if this has already been posted about earlier in the thread, but does anyone know if there is a second look day?

Street parking is free, but you'll get a ticket if you're there over 2 hours... I just got one today during my PIL shadow day 🙁

Its free, but sparce. There are areas that do ticket, so watch the signs!

Yes, I feel the same way. It is heartbreaking when schools just keep you on hold. I don't know the answer though... sorry.
 
I believe their last interview day was March 29th. I could be wrong but that was my understanding
 
My status just changed to "The Admissions Committee has reached a decision on your application. A letter will be mailed to your preferred address. " this morning.
Interviewed in early March. I have no idea what to think.

Their last interview was Thursday (April 7). :/

Side note: Does anyone know what the turnaround time is at this point in the cycle to hear the decisions post interview?

I was told by admin 6 weeks. I interviewed 3/29.
 
Status updated today telling everyone they are released from consideration due to interview season being over.

I sent an email to the Admissions Office (since the financial Office doesn't have an email address :eyebrow:), and this is what I got:
"Drexel Central – Student Financial and Registration Services will be e-mailing information to you about financial aid. Please make sure to pick up your account at http://www.drexel.edu/irt/connect/accounts/ so that you can access your information on-line. More detailed information about student loan programs and filing the FAFSA form on-line is available on our website at http://drexel.edu/drexelcentral. If you have any specific questions, please don’t hesitate to contact that office at (215) 895-1600."

I didn't even know that we had to set up a Drexel Account until I happen to ask them. They have info about your financial aid package in the account, but my financial aid offer isn't ready yet. So I wondering if somebody else's is?
 
The information about setting up a Drexel account was sent along with the acceptance package.

But I havent received anything regarding financial aid yet and I have been complete with that since February.

If you haven't filled out the Drexel specific financial aid application (short one page thing online), do so ASAP. The deadline is passed already, but they said to do it before the end of April, when they expect to disburse what little need-based scholarship they have.

Thanks for the info. Again, I didn't even know. I'm having some communication problems with Drexel (probably the fault of the mailing company).

Doesn't it say "... May 15, 2016 for new incoming students" on the scholarship application? Or is there another application? Thanks!
 
It's possible they extended the deadline. At second look (first weekend of April) I swear an administrator said "deadline was mid March, but get it in ASAP." It sounded, by the type of app, that it was more geared toward ethnicity and religious affiliation to find any possible grants

Does anyone know where we can find our financial aid info once it becomes available? Will it be mailed to our houses or will it be online somewhere? Thank you!
 
Checked my portal and I've finally been "released from consideration" from Drexel. At least I can finally cross this one off my list!
