Thanks!Yes, they are! When I interviewed, they said they were a little over halfway through with their interviews. There's still hope!

I interviewed the 18th hope we hear something soon.Mid-November interview, hoping for an update this week. Sounds like early-November was updated just before Christmas?
For any of you who have waited at least 12 weeks and are still not complete, I would give the admissions office a call. I submitted my secondary on 8/27 and when I called today to see why it wasn't complete I was told all the august secondaries had already been reviewed and that mine was "accidentally missed."![]()

I was interviewed 11/4 and still haven't heard anything :/ I was so nervous the whole holidays as I saw other people get their updates! *fingers crossed*
Has anyone that has gotten an interview this cycle also previously been on the hold for an interview? The pre interview hold portal message is hard to interpret, until all applicants have been reviewed only then is the pre interview hold pool given a potential chance at an interview? Best of luck to everyone! And reapply if it doesn't work out this cycle! I'm aiming for that.
I called the admissions office at (503) 494-2998Hi guys,
I am new to SDN, but have been reading your posts for a long time. I submitted my application mid August and was marked as complete 9/4 (right when they received my green card) I have been completed since then, no other actions on my portal.
It has been 18 weeks since that happen and I am considering calling them to check on the application and what is going on (afraid they "accidentally misses it"). So my question is what number did you call to check on your status?
Thanks!

Lol, both..Did you check portal or just email?
Hey everyone - long-time lurker, first time poster. I'm applying to OHSU as an in-state resident to the MD/MPH but still haven't heard back. My file wasn't complete for the longest time because of some unfortunate delays and I ended up getting everything completed a few months behind everyone else. I'm trying to remain hopeful, and I heard somewhere that all of the MD/MPH interviews are done in the spring. Does anyone know if that's true? I know last year there were a few in March.
Good luck to everyone!
A couple quick question:
1. If I'm "on hold" is there any chance I will hear before April 30th?
2. Does anyone know what percentage/how many people get put on hold that were interviewed? Thank you in advance!
1. Yes! My friends at OHSU heard the beginning of April (instead of the 30th, not great but still a little better)A couple quick question:

It's been asked a couple times, but does anyone know if OHSU accepts update letters (especially for those of us on hold?)
On the admissions portal:
Please note that further updates will not reopen your file or change the committee's decision.
Right, that seems to apply to people that already have a decision made, which to me wouldn't include hold. Basically saying they don't change rejections.
"your file has been screened and is currently on hold for an interview, pending further review"
One would assume more info for their further review would be a good thing...but then again admissions process isn't always exactly rational
Ah! Gotta, I would just send admissions an email then 🙂We are talking pre-II hold - so that doesn't really apply, but good info to have!
no problem. its a hold game. We are on that repeat game don't even worry!Placed on hold today via portal (no email received). Interviewed on 11/4
Same boat! I was excited as well to interview early but waiting 6 months not so much hahaThank you!
Does getting into the hold pool sooner rather than later even improve chances then? I interviewed in October and was put on hold the week or two afterwards (not sure if that's good or bad). I was excited to be done in October, but it seems if they interview everyone before making these decisions there was no benefit to going early?
Does anyone know the date when they will give out final waitlist numbers and acceptances/rejections for this year? Last year was the first week of May if I recall correctly.
Just checked my portal and it said that non-mission groups will be evaluated until February for IIs. Used to say January.
yay?
Also - I was offered dates starting in one weekIt kind of seems like that is more of the trend from last year's thread
As crazy as it might sound, the eight minutes do fly by in most of the scenarios! The interviewers, for the most part, are good about keeping the conversation moving.Hey guys any tips for the MMI, besides the UW page. I'm worried about talking for that length of time for each interview?...8 minutes seems so long
The eight minutes do pass really fast. I watched all of the MMI Course Grinder videos on YouTube to help myself feel more prepared. In the end, they didn't really help me in the actual MMI, but they did help to put my mind at ease because I felt like I was preparing myself in some way. There isn't much that you can do to prepare yourself for the MMI--it's best to just answer honestly and be yourself. Good luck!Hey guys any tips for the MMI, besides the UW page. Mind sharing your complete date? Thx!II today, OOS MDMPH priority group (was supposed to hear in 12 weeks, aka November >_<)
Will be declining the interview - I hope it goes to someone on here!
