Supposedly a huge blizzard/storm coming next week. Hope it doesn't interfere, does anyone know if they cancel interviews cause of snows or delays it due to flight delays?

I think my nerves are sinking in too much.

I live an hour and a half from hershey...only snow storm I heard of is this Friday night and Saturday so you should be fine!

I was complete around the same time and haven't heard anything either. I suspect this is what happened to our apps:

I really don't understand PSU, how they put some people on hold within 6 weeks but keep others waiting with silence for almost 5 months

Additional info tab 12/21, Acceptance packet 12/28 (this includes over Christmas, and I'm out of state). It usually takes about a week but I've seen some get it at the 2 week-3 week mark as well, just hang on tight though I'm sure it is on its way 🙂

I just got placed on hold today, was complete in August. I wish the school accepted updates though, because I have a 4.0 in graduate coursework from the Fall I wanted to submit. However, it says that my application is still under active review. Is this just a gentle rejection?

They email us:

"The Admissions Committee has completed a thorough review of your application and has placed it in the “Continue to Review” category. Your application will be reviewed periodically during the remainder of the process until a decision is made whether you will be invited for an interview at a later date or not.

Because of the large size of our applicant pool, many applications must be placed in this category so that the Admissions Committee can provide a fair and thorough evaluation of all candidates for admission. Please know that this is a common action, and that your application is still under active review by the Admissions Committee.

You should also be aware that a decision for interview is based on the information presently contained in your file. We will not accept application updates, letters of intent or additional letters of recommendation. You will be informed immediately when a final decision on your status is made.

We appreciate your interest in The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine.

You can update AMCAS with grade changes (simply submit the transcript to them), and they will update each of the schools you applied to!

Did you already try this? I was under the impression that AMCAS refused to update grades once your primary application has been verified.
