For the people who got II, did they ever send you the your file is complete and under review email? I got the email that said my application was submitted but never the email that said my app was under review.
 
Guys, there's no need to think you've been silently rejected just because someone who was complete after you got an II and you didn't. Schools don't always review applications in a linear fashion, or they might initially hold off on making a decision and re-review you later. At all three schools I have IIs at, I watched people complete after me get IIs before I did. So don't give up hope yet.

I am OOS. My primary was complete July 3, I just got the secondary late and didn't get to complete it right away. Not sure if they look at the secondary complete date or primary.
Either or, I'd be surprised if they go in order.

I got a Secondary Submission and then an Application Complete email. Then nothing till the Interview Invite.

I never got a compete email, but I have a green checkmark on my portal by the "Application File Complete" category, so I'm assuming I'm complete.

Hey, this process is already way too stressful without trying to accurately predict the actions of admissions sub-committees. Yes, you may have gotten "passed over" (no idea what your app is like, but perhaps they only wanted an X or above MCAT, Y or above GPA, certain extracurriculars, etc.) for the first round of II's, but each applicant usually has until about February or March before it's time to think about losing hope and throwing in the towel. Rest assured, there are a lot of us in similar positions, and at least from my perspective, focusing on the clandestine ways of this application process just ends up making you feel bad about yourself. I'm sure the II's will come (if they haven't already), so give it some time!
 
Second Look tab on the portal. Looks like it's an acceptance? And the same thing happened to people on the 2014-2015 thread.
In-state, 3.8+ GPA and 32+ MCAT, complete 7/27, interviewed 9/14/2015.

Last year's thread had people that got the tab and then got the acceptance in the mail a few days later. I'd hate to find out it's a mistake D:

The second look tab thing happened to me last year. I do think it means an acceptance.

I just don't understand why it's still happening this year; I don't think the school meant for it to happen last year.
 
The Second Look tab is gone, but I do have an Additional Info tab which I don't think was there before, anyone else confirm?

I interviewed in late September and I only have Home, Status, Interview, Secondary Application, and User Profile tabs. I don't see any Additional Info tab so that likely is notable on your portal.

Don't worry too much about the details! Just write that you're evolving because of your interview and it will be formatted for you, haha.
 
After you submitted your secondary app, did everyone get a complete email? I just got a "confirmed received" email and in there it says that I will get a complete email soon, but I never got one.
 
Have they been primarily giving IIs to IS/penn state applicants?

OOS with no news, complete 8/1

In-state, 3.8+ GPA and 32+ MCAT, complete 7/27, interviewed 9/14/2015 (it was the 2nd date available), I didn't choose to apply to that program with the 1 year off.
