Has anyone got an interview invite recently? Still patiently (kind of haha) waiting for any kind of news.
 
Do they send letters to your home address? For me, I'm at school, not at home, so is there a way to select, if you are offered an acceptance, where you want it sent?

They send it to the address you listed as your permanent address on AMCAS. My portal hasn't changed so I don't think you can select where you want it sent ahead of time.

Waitlisted. Just received the letter today. Interviewed on 9/23.
 
Is everyone receiving decisions by letters or are you also receiving an email?
 
I don't see any information in the acceptance packet about sending in a deposit to reserve the seat...am I missing it? Or do we just need to return the forms? Thanks.
 
Sorry for those waitlisted :/ were you IS or OOS if you don't mind me asking?

I didn't either. I don't think they require a deposit.
 
Can any current students tell me when the academic year begins and ends for MS1's? I'm guessing it's earlier than other students because of orientation, etc.

This year I believe it was the second week of august but that can change, I'd say, a week in either direction probably

acceptance letter says orientation starts aug 11
 
This is my number one school. In-state. Application completed in August 28th. Was expecting an interview invite by now 🙁
 
Those that interviewed, were both your interviews in the morning/afternoon or did you have one in the morning and another in the afternoon? or does it depend on the person?

I think it depends, but I think they try to make them either both in the morning or both in the afternoon. and if both of yours are in the afternoon they try to call you beforehand to tell you that you can arrive later.

Secondary Invite: late July
Completed Secondary: mid-late August
II: mid-late September
Interview: Early October
Accepted: mid-late October

I've sent in the forms and have been ignoring all other interview invites - I'm down for Maryland. It makes the most sense for my life. Can't wait to get to know all of you, classmates.
 
Hey guys don't forget I'm a current student here and I remember sdn helping me a lot when I was going through the process. Willing to answer all questions be it Baltimore, school, being a med student, whatever!

Ah you guys are making me excited! I want an acceptance here so badly! I interviewed about 3 weeks ago, IS, so I can only hope for an acceptance and not a waitlist! My second interviewer was very very quiet and I sat in silence for a good portion of time as she looked over her notes from my app between questions so it was interesting and I have no idea what's going to come of that. But fingers crossed.
 
Quick question folks = has anyone been straight up rejected post interview? I'd assume this early on the answer is likely no? Seems to be WL or Acceptances
