800? Let's figure the math on that.

Say they have 3 interview days per week, every week. Say they started interviewing the week of 9/1. So that'd be 7 weeks. Let's say they interview 25 people per interview day. 7 weeks * 3 days a week * 25 interviewees a day = 525. All of these numbers are gross over-estimations, so no, I would not say they've interviewed 800 already.

You can request for early interviews if you have to leave early. If you do, you'd probably be out by like 2:30 which gives you plenty of time.

I think everyone was done by 4:30 pm, most earlier (I was done around 3:45 pm). But if you tell them now when you have to leave for your flight, they will most likely honor your request. Also the airport is literally 2 miles from the campus and it is a super small/quick airport so even if you got out at 4:30 you would still have plenty of time if you took a cab straight there.

Nope, I wonder when we can expect to hear? I could have sworn they said the third Tuesday in October during my interview.

So the group activity is very low key and not really evaluated. They give you an ethical question and you all just talk about it!
But it's not really evaluated because it's just the admissions director lady sitting in there, and she doesn't know everybody's name. I'm sure if you said something ridiculous she would be sure to look at your name tag and take note, but it's just an activity to see how you work with others and your ethical thinking. Nothing is written down.

I interviewed in mid-September and still no news regarding application. I know on our interview day they said we were on the border of which committee meeting we'd make it to. Hopefully they meet soon and let us know!
