Accepted today via email IS, interviewed last week.
Email or letter ?Interviewed 1/29 wait listed today OOS LizzyM ~67
Letter that arrived today. Anyone know any specifics about the WVU wait list? I know OOS sees movement, but it seems a lot of us are being wait listed as well. I am sitting on their wait list and an IS wait list with one more interview to go. Feeling a little discouraged to say the least.
I am in the same boat, IS wait list, waiting to hear back from WVU and another school with one more interview to go at UMD. But I know most schools, they offer about 2 to 3 times the number of seats they have so don't lose hope !!!
Haha! That is really crazy, we interview the same week too.Really strange... but I saw your other posts. I am also IS waitlisted at EVMS and have an interview at UMD.
Does anyone know if they update your portal with your status post-interview? Had an interview a week or so ago and they said we would be hearing around the end of this week. But as I understand, you only receive an email notification if you have been accepted
Committee gets together on Thursday and letters are mailed out on Wednesday. Depending on where you live you may get them on Friday-Saturday or on MondayDoes anyone know if they update your portal with your status post-interview? Interviewed 2/11. The waiting is tortuous. I felt really good about the school and the tour, but I definitely wasn't a fan of the two on one interview. They sat on either side of me so I had a hard time knowing how to look at them and speak to them equally without looking like a spectator at a tennis match. Anyone else get accepted that felt a little iffy on their interview?
They were pretty tough on me in terms of my weaknesses.
In addition, I felt like I had to ask a lot of questions to keep the conversation going and my interview was shorter compared to the other applicants that day. (The guy before me had a really long interview while mine was only about 20-25 minutes).
I didn't feel too good about my interview but turned out I did well enough to get accepted.![]()

I think it was last week. I just got a call from fin aid saying I got an 80k scholarship to help with my decision. I hadn't sent in the deposit and it was past the two weeks after I got the notice to send deposit. When and How did they let you know about your scholarship?

OOSSorry if you've addressed this already, but are you IS or OOS?
Very quiet on this thread. Hoping for some OOS waitlist movement soon 🙂
New MSAR came out and on it, it said there are about 50 waitlist spots available but it did not state how many people are on waitlist thoughQuestion. I have been on the OOS wait list post-interview for about 3 months now, and I haven't heard anything. How many people are put on the waitlist? Do I still have a shot? Or are there 300 people on the wait list waiting for 20 spots. I know they can't reveal waitlist ranking or spot number due to law, but I was wondering if I called them if they would be able to give me an idea of whether or not I should be hopeful at all, or start looking at my plan B.
Just from who I know in my class I'd say that's pretty accurate. Pretty much half the class is OOS and almost all of them were on the waitlist first with a few ISers on the waitlist as well. They seem to waitlist a ton of people (especially OOSers), but I don't know actual numbers. I don't think it would hurt to call and ask student services. The worst they can do is say that they can't release that information.New MSAR came out and on it, it said there are about 50 waitlist spots available but it did not state how many people are on waitlist though

623 according again to MSAR and not sure how many people they reject post-interview lolBut don't they interview close to 800 OOS applicants? I wonder if that many OOS applicants withdraw their acceptance/spot from the waitlist

They do reject post-interview, but I think more often than not they place applicants on the waitlist or at least it seems like it from SDN and from what I've heard in the rumor mill. I'd say it's safe to bet there's over 100 people on the waitlist after post-interview acceptances and rejections as well as people dropping off the waitlist because of acceptances at other schools. How far over 100, I couldn't really say. I wouldn't give up hope though guys, there's no reason one of the waitlist spots won't go to you! 🙂623 according again to MSAR and not sure how many people they reject post-interview lol
Yes I canCan you guys see the cost of attendance on the WVU portal for the 2016-2017 year?
I tried messaging you but it keeps telling me I am unable to start a conversation with you...if someone who has been accepted wants to message me their Facebook information I can create a c/o 2020 Facebook page. it's probably about time one gets made haha
