Does CMU send out rejections when they give the message of "decision to interview pending"? Have they sent out any interviews yet?
 
Who else is getting super nervous/excited about post-interview decisions coming out in the next week or so?!:laugh:
 
One week away!!!! Do you think they'll notify us on Saturday? Or wait till Monday? 🙁

I looked through the past pages of the thread and still could not locate an instance of a rejection post that status.

Hi! interviews have occurred - 2 days thus far I believe. If it says decision to interview pending, my guess is that it's kind of like a hold status because you're still being compared and reviewed.

I was complete 8/17, still sitting in the "You're application is ready" stage, haven't yet moved to the "Application under review". Is anyone else is this position, and does this mean we have 0 chance of getting in? This school is my #1, I'm super nervous!

Same. Complete 8/2. Still not under review. Not sure what it could mean but still holding on to hope until I get a response...

This Friday is only interview day 3, and if I counted right less than 100 people have interviewed so far (they have smaller groups come in for interviews to make sure it's more personal). Don't stress too much yet. If March comes and you haven't heard anything that may be cause for concern, but not this early.

I think they do a review of applicants in chunks. I was put on review about a month ago, and I was complete at the end of July. So I'm sure once my little group is done you guys will be up next! 🙂

I was complete early September and was put in review like 2 weeks later.. Still in review. So I don't necessarily think they're going in any order

I'm IS and it's been > 2 months of ready for review, FWIW.
 
Same here. Current M1, application complete end of August, II January 12, interviewed January 28, and "priority waitlisted" February 9 (admitted March 23). CMED absolutely does not frontload its interview schedules nor its admission decisions.

Complete Jul 25, Under review in September at some point. I'm seeing some people get an II off this status, some don't. So now we play the waiting game...

Hmmm I thought it was the natural progression after being "under review". Hoping it means an II though!

I wonder if those who received an II went straight from under review to II or also had the review complete status as well. Can anyone chime in?

I was complete around the same time and moved into the same phase recently, it's probably the natural progression!

I was complete at CMU on 9/4 last year, didn't receive an interview invite until 2/1 (interviewed 2/19), and was accepted without being placed on the waitlist 3/1.
It truly isn't over until it's actually over 🙂

Submitted 8/8 and still not even under review yet. Wish there was a clause that'd allow me to get a refund on app fee if not yet under review...kinda like the old Domino's Pizza "30 minutes or it's free."
 
Placed on "hold" today post interview. Not really sure what to make of all of this...
 
Received the email this morning. I knew as soon as I saw it that it meant that I wasn't immediately accepted. However, I was put on the waitlist. I suppose this isn't all that bad. Good luck to everyone else and congratulations for those of you who get a phone call today.

:/ waitlist this early can still mean good things to come tho! What did you think of interview day there?
