2016-2017 Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons Application Thread

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I bet it will be end of this week. They probably have some meeting that they just delayed a week before sending out submissions.

I got locked out of my admissions account and messaged them to unlock it, and I also asked when decisions would be released. This was their response: "All decisions will be released soon, in Mid-February." So, I agree! I think end of the week.

Low key I feel they didn't do it today and probably won't tomorrow because of Valentine's Day. They're probably like "release decisions early in the week? On valentines??? Oh god no we're not monsters, we'll just stall their inevitable rejections for another week 🙂"

Well, an acceptance call on Valentines' Day is even better than a love letter from your crush. Don't think Columbia would be that sweet though.

Lol it would be pretty funny if they just sent acceptances tomorrow and waited a couple of days for waitlist and rejections

Maybe they will send out acceptance decisions tomorrow to celebrate Valentines day

and then they will send me the rejection letter on Thursday or Friday

I heard decisions are released when Orion is high in the southeast at night fall

Current medical student. I mean that person could be wrong, but it is what I am going on.

Edit: Heard it from a current medical student.

You know if you're wrong you're going to have unequivocal karmic ire for days, right?

Current P&S student here. New account to preserve anonymity of old one. Good luck to everyone waiting to hear back. Happy to answer anyone's questions here or via PM.
