It seems Adcoms also have a challenge to fill in ALL the available seats, if you see the number of candidates withdrawing between Feb & April (Reviewing last year threads).

They told me it would be about 2 more weeks. I'm assuming they are aiming to be released Dec 15th like many other schools.

I was told 8-10 weeks from interviews that took place first week in October. So hopefully first half of December

Penn = UPenn (at least in terms of undergrad)

So....I'm in state with fairly high stats and still no II. Should I be worried? I logged in and it doesn't say I have a hold, but I also can't figure out where to find that.

There are roughly 9,000 applicants for this school and I'm sure that plenty of them have high stats too. Just because you have high stats doesn't make you a shoe in, there is a lot of chance invoked. A friend of mine got rejected with a 515 and a 3.9+, but got acceptances at top tier schools. Just be patient and see, I know it sucks though

I believe so, yes. If they ask for your social security number on your portal then you should receive an acceptance packet shortly afterwards.


My portal asked for my social and I entered it. Are you saying that means itt's likely an acceptance? I'm confused because they asked for social but just sent me an email notificattion that I'm on hold. Any thoughts on what that might mean?
