Called here earlier this morning, they said they have 'started sending out acceptances' 😱
Idk if that's the geffen calls that were on here earlier, or if regular acceptances have gone out

This makes me feel a bit uneasy. I had called last Thursday and had phrased the question as "next round of acceptances," and was told in two weeks. But things could always change... I hope that they're referring to the phone calls that were made a few weeks ago...

Yea, I think it depends on how the question was phrased/who is answering the phone at the time..
I dunno, it worried me too, but I think the sampling size here on sdn is big enough that we would hear about it if a big wave of acceptances went out

I wonder when January interviews will be reviewed by the adcom. In other words I wonder how many applications they make decisions on every two weeks.

No dress code! None whatsoever. Even those of us there who are on subcommittee and/or conduct interviews do not report anything about the meet and greet (unless maybe you do something really silly like punch one of us), so don't stress about it at all.

Is there a specific entrance we should use to get into Geffen Hall? I'm guessing there may be security or a door code at some of them? Thanks!!

Take either of the two big entrances that lead into the open courtyard, both of which should be open. The Le Conte Ave entrance across from Ralphs leads to floor B, while the Center for Health Sciences lawn entrance from the opposite (main campus) side leads to the 1st floor. You'll want to take the elevators to the 2nd floor, make a left, immediately make a right, and then immediately make a left again into the student lounge. We look forward to seeing you there!

However we don't know how many are on sdn or how many are going to post.

I emailed around last week, and was told acceptances will be out soon... but I know soon means many different things..
