Accepted 10:09 pm! IS, 69.5 Lizzy M, Non-Trad. This was my alma mater! I interviewed in late October!

Edit: Nothing on TMDSAS. Offer went out via email, and it shows on the secondary portal.
 
Accepted via email at 9:47PM!!!!! Also got the dean's scholarship, but I don't think signing the scholarship acknowledgement form is binding. I'm sure they expect a lot of movement on match day from people holding offers and scholarships given during prematch.
 
Oh my goodness I had literally just finished lamenting to my friends about how I didn't prematch at any schools and then I checked my email to see an acceptance from Lubbock! I'm so thankful :'D
 
Does anyone know if we have to disclose a speeding ticket on the criminal offense section when we are filling out the accepting offer forms on the portal?

Quick question: I applied FMAT but my offer has nothing about scholarship or FMAT in it. Does this mean that I didn't make it into FMAT?

I interviewed yesterday, was anyone that interviewed 11/15 accepted? has the council met on us yet? anyone know?
 
I interviewed 11/10. Does anyone know if this was too late to qualify for pre-match?
 
Hey @Dr.Chameleon I read from a previous year’s thread that the committee meets on Tuesdays. Many people interviewed right after prematch and ended up getting a prematch offer the following week! With that being said, does anyone know if the committee has reviewed interviews that happened in 11/10? Anyone from that date get a prematch offer?

I just called admissions and was told my interview review is scheduled for next week and my interview was 10/20.

That seems about right; last year I interviewed around the same date and was not reviewed in time for pre-match either. Did you ask if they were going to send out any more pre matches to people who have not had their interview reviewed yet?

Yes I ask them that and was told prematch offers will be sent throughout the prematch period. 🙂

I called admissions and they said to disclose minor traffic violations on the criminal history form on the background check tab. Really hoping this doesn't affect anything!! I just have one speeding ticket.

I can't tell you what they will or won't do, but I will say I personally wouldn't stress about it too much. I have a previous arrest on my my record and a couple charges from years back that I disclosed on my application and I was still able to get a few interviews and at least one acceptance so far at another school. You are going to be fine, the biggest thing is just to be upfront and honest like you are. Based on my experience with other licensing boards most places just don't want to be surprised and have what you report be inconsistent with what they find

Wow that is really reassuring to know! I think it's silly to take away someone's acceptance for a traffic ticket. I hope it doesn't affect anything! I took defensive driving so it shouldn't even be on my record, but I don't want them to somehow find out and then I get in trouble.

Haha just think: A lot of us drive. A lot of us have busy lives and therefore need to spend less time on the road. So the likelihood that another accepted applicant has a speeding ticket somewhere on their driving record is reeeaally high.
...I know that for sure because I also have a speeding ticket :'D
But my point is they aren't going to take away all those people's acceptances haha. And plus since you took defensive driving you really don't need to worry about it coming up during the CBC 🙂

Oh ok. I hope its gonna be all ok. IDK why they told me to disclose it? I wasn't sure if defensive driving would take it off my CBC. But I should have clarified with them on the phone that I took defensive driving so it got expunged. I sent them a follow up email about it and how it's not on my record and they were just like "Thanks we will make a note of it".

I really wouldnt worry about it. Everyone has gotten a speeding ticket at some point. Just be as transparent as possible on the form and it will be just fine. Congrats on your acceptance! Been rooting for you for several months now!
 
Did anyone interview early in the cycle but didn't received a pre-match? I interviewed mid-September and haven't heard back...not sure if I should keep my hopes up or just wait for the match lol.
 
This might be a dumb question, but does anyone know if the placement guarantee fee is refundable if we decide to not go?

I interviewed early September and I haven't heard anything so I'm just going to wait for the match and hope for the best!
 
I was accepted Wednesday also! Does everyone get the Dean's Scholarship?

I got one without doing FAFSA. Not sure when financial aid awards come out but I should probably do FAFSA soon...
 
I was accepted but without the Dean's scholarship. For those who got it how much is it worth? Does it cover all 4 years or just the first (with the remaning three based on how well you are doing)? Thank you in advance!
