Their twitter says current students are gonna call at noon

I haven't been wait-listed on the portal, does that mean I'm most likely accepted?

Do you know if 9/12 interviewers would hear back today?

Seems likely since that was one of the first 2-3 dates, but I don't have any knowledge about what interview days will hear when so can't be 100% sure.

Anyone still waiting on a portla change/call that interviewed on first day?

Alternate list. Congrats to all who got accepted!

Anyone knows how many students are placed on alternate list every year? I checked MSAR and it says 1 to 20, which does not seem plausible to me.

I'm pretty sure (like 99%) that October 4th will not hear today.
Thanks! That makes sense they alluded to a call today on interview day but it hasnt even been two weeks yet. Congrats on the good news to everyone hearing back today!

Haha don't know the exact number but definitely >20, that's for sure. Alternate list isn't a bad place to be, last year they pulled a ton of people from the alternate list.

Is anyone still waiting on a portal change/call? I interviewed 9/12 and haven't heard anything. I am in-state by the way.

rejected by an email telling me to check the portal :/ ah well. good luck to everyone else!

Also rejected by portal. Starting to get nervous now that I'm interviewing poorly since my stats are above average for this school, and I'm assuming my EC's aren't terrible since I've gotten interviews from some other great schools.

I'm sorry, but it sounds like you're in good shape if you already have interviewed. I'm kinda feeling the same way as I already got waitlisted post interview at another school. What time did you get emailed? I still haven't heard anything.

I got e-mailed at 4:49 about a status change, but I checked my portal earlier in the afternoon, and the status was updated there.

Does anyone know the percent of in-state people accepted post-II? On the MSAR it only shows matriculated.

Based on the little flyer they gave us on interview day, 45% of the ~600 interviewees are IS (~270 students), and 45% of the ~375 accepted students are IS (~169 students).

Based on my math, 169 of 270 IS interviewees got accepted, or ~62.5%.

EDIT: Math. Also, reading more closely it's not specifically in-state, it's Ohio/KY/Indiana.

So now do they have set days that they release decisions or will they just trickle out periodically?

Do you know how many? I was looking at the 2016-2017 thread and they said there was barely any movement from the alternate list, it was basically a rejection. I got placed on the alternate list yesterday and this is one of my top choices so any good news would be fantastic

I didn't follow the 2016-2017 thread much but I know that they accepted people from the second teir (or quartile? Don't remember exactly how it's ranked) of the wait list last year.

I'm in the same situation. I'm worried because I don't know how to fix the problem if it really is my interviewing skills

For people who were rejected, you can call and ask for advice on how to improve. Not sure if that's something that's offered at the end of the cycle or throughout.

They asked us to email to set up an appointment--I think they schedule them to start in April when most of the application stuff for the year is done.
