Fade me now fam, Pitt will be the first school I hear back from post-II. I'm dreading the day it comes.

Damn, no schools with rolling admissions?? That' stressful...granted I've only heard back from one school but definitely takes some pressure off.

Lol all the schools I got interviews at are non-rolling. I'll hear back again in mid February and again mid March. And of course, the schools who leave me in silence are all rolling, more like rolling in my secondary fee that is 🤣

Well, that means you were too good for them...most schools that don't do rolling are higher tier. So your stats were too far above them...me, I'm middle of the road like a peasant haha.

I feel like that's that one. Also the Admissions Data Forms tab currently says it's only available to admitted applicants, so maybe that message will change too? Good luck to everyone waiting to hear back! I hope we'll all be classmates at Pitt!

Also.. I don't think this means anything but the wording in my status tab changed slightly. After my interview on 12/13, it read "Application is complete and under review". On Monday when I just went to check my portal, it changed to "application is under review". Most likely doesn't mean a thing, but did this happen to anyone else?? I took a screenshot to show the difference.

Hmmm...I don't know what my portal said before, but I interviewed on 12/4 and right now it also says "application is under review". So probably doesn't mean much unless someone has something different?

Their last interview was 12/15. I think MSAR said 112 peeps got accepted off the waitlist last year.

I mean it wouldn’t make sense. If you have all your applicants, you build your class based on what you’re looking for. As people start withdrawing, you look at your first priority WL use those to fill up your class. Rinse and repeat until orientation day

Yeah that makes a ton of sense...Well played.

I mean it it’s hard to tell. But on US News they list 359 accepted out of 847 interviewed. And similar numbers reported last year.

I think they are in a unique position in that they are a top 15 and share the same applicant pool as these top universities.
