okay it says for class of 2019 my b lol really slacking on that reading comprehension

I can't seem to find a 'command F' feature for this thread so I apologize for my question that I'm sure has been answered...how long after interviews does the committee typically send decisions?

Early start block for fourth years. Mostly for people who are out of phase with their class due to postponing a rotation for whatever reason

They have decision dates on the portal

Some November interviewees heard back just two weeks ago, a late January interviewee heard back this week... there doesn't appear to be a concrete/predictable answer to this question.

Also we were told at my interview that the last committe meeting is sheduled for 3rd week of April where they will make all decisions for acceptance, reject or official waitlist. After the 3rd week, decision will go out weekly rather than this long wait that we are experiencing. I’m sure they will add more decision dates but it will most likely be in April since we are coming to the end of March.

I interviewed 1/31 and haven't heard anything either - my worst fear is that they're saving the rejections for last.

I’m thinking the same thing... I mean it doesn’t make any sense otherwise, right? Why else would they release decisions out of order?

Someone way earlier in the thread suggested that they might be reviewing applicants' profiles based on which interviewers are available to meet on any given day (since each of their schedules is probably very different)... I'm just as clueless as you guys are, but I wouldn't think the worst just yet

Get out of here with that logic and let me panic in peace!

there could be more deferrals / waitlists coming! two weeks ago there were some deferrals on weds, I got my deferral the next day

Uh oh, does this mean all seats are filled?

I think the reason they were giving deferrals was so that they could come back and look at the application again at a later date. Now that the admissions season is coming to a close, there is probably no point in giving a deferral so they go straight to the waitlist?

Back in January, my application was put on hold to be reviewed later.
Has anyone in a similar situation received any updates?

If those that were just waitlisted don't mind me asking, were any of you initially deferred? Or is this the first thing you're hearing post-interview?

Does anyone know how often decisions will be coming after this week since no other dates are posted on the portal?

II today. I thought it would be a rejection letter. I don't really know what to do. The SO has already applied to a Master's program near the very expensive DO program I was admitted to...
talk to your SO not sdn haha but id go to the interview unless you know that even if admitted you wouldn't go at which point id turn it down

Hey guys is anyone bringing anyone (parents, significant other, etc) to second look?? Not sure if that’s a thing at this school.
