In a question only a neurotic pre-med could ask, any idea how they feel about beards? I've gotten an acceptance (two, as of this morning) with one, but given their military preference they might not like the typical veteran "I am still in Afghanistan" beard I have. Anyone from last year accepted with such, or anyone see a few people at interviews there this year with one?
I look way more attractive with a beard and feel more confident with one. I trimmed it very short for interview season (at one point it was too long to fit on a passport photo in true duck dynasty style) and it is kept neat and tidy. It is a full, professional looking beard. It took a long time to grow but I would sacrifice it for an acceptance, especially since this is my first MD interview. Any thoughts?
