man Michigan, at the start of the cycle, I came here every Sunday night dreaming about an early interview and an Oct 15th acceptance. Here I am now at the end of the cycle still praying one last time for an II, it ain't over till the pre-II R

Has anyone with a deferred decision heard back yet? I got the deferred decision in December and all they said was that I would have a decision by the end of March.

They give out merit aid. They also respond to negotiation based on a few people I know IRL and some MDapps profiles. Especially if you attend second look

On their website it says they send out offers March 15th but have also heard of people like @LadyGlen who got theirs earlier. I think March 15th is when most/the latest you’ll hear. Because full financial aid packages go out at the beginning of April.

+1. They’ll probably send out all the remaining R’s after their last interview date on Feb 1st. Maybe it’s possible they send out an II this coming Monday if anyone cancels

Last interview day is Feb 1st so I'm assuming interviews given now would be for canceled slots and on super short notice.

508 interviews scheduled and 344 admission offers so far. Very surprised by number of admission offers, I would have thought they would have accepted less and waitlisted more people given the new rules.

New AAMC traffic rules. Most predict it will cause an increase in number of waitlists, but increased movement. I had 2 schools specifically tell me at interview day they would be wait-listing more students than usual because of them.

You’ll get scholarship notifications and financial aid ESTIMATES which are usually the same as the actual amount of aid but it isn’t official until after you commit.

+1 on finally getting the official rejection email this afternoon. Applied MD/PhD at beginning of cycle, was transferred to MD-only first week of November. I believe Michigan's last interview date was 2/1 anyway!
