Long time lurker here. Wanted to share that I got the long-awaited call from Dr. Chan on Monday! IS, technically this was my third time applying. My GPA and MCAT are average, but I have lots of unique experiences. I know first-hand that the U values your extracurriculars and your ability to talk/write about them. Been dreaming about this day for a long time and I still can’t believe it actually happened. I absolutely know how difficult and discouraging this process can be and I commend all of you for applying!! I’m rooting for you! Don’t give up!
