I wonder if this means they'll be interviewing more applicants, or just accepting more of their interviewees.

During the interview, they only hoped to get to 100,sounded like they were happy being lower for now, so maybe only a few more acceptances. They did not mention of they were interviewing any more than previously mentioned 350ish

I just got an II for this school, but the only day available as of right now is 12/9. Does anyone know if they update the dates often?

does anyone know how soon does UofA get back to you regarding decisions? The dean mentioned 11/18 for my Interview day, but didn’t state whether that’s the earliest we should expect a decision or not

Listen to what they say on interview day. They re-evaluate all applicants every 2 weeks, and the next day is on the 18th.

I believe they only have 1 date on there at a time. They do have interviews scheduled for later in the cycle, but they only allow 1 option. You can either wait and hope it fills up for the next option to become available, or try calling admissions and see if there is anything they can do.

Anyone hear anything this morning? I was deferred to today and I’m really hoping for some good news!

Just got the post II - R, interview 10/21... IS, LM 71 and I thought the interview went well...ugh

Same, interviewed on the same day. Thought interview went well but got the post II R. Ah well, onto the next

Those of you that are still under consideration did you get an email yesterday saying that you are on the waitlist?

Did any deferred people get accepted since their first deferral email????

You will be called by Dr. Fogerty if you are accepted and receive an email for waitlist/rejection. I heard there were eight interview days total, the fourth one being yesterday 11/18. There were around 30-36 students at my interview day, meaning there will likely be 120-144 more interviewees in the future. If you have not received that II yet, keep your head up. There is still plenty of hope.

Funny how things work. Received an II literally one minute ago.

For people who've been accepted – have you heard anything since submitting the affirmation statement? On the phone Dr. Fogerty mentioned hearing about financial aid options and second look but I haven't gotten any materials since the acceptance/submitting the affirmation form on 10/15.

There are supposed to be at least 10 interview days, they said they plan to interview 360, with a max of 36 per interview (all their MMI rooms can handle). Since they are increasing the class size, they may have more interviews than originally planned, with roughly 2 per month (holidays may be fewer). I believe they interview into February. I know the 9/23 interview was the 4th one scheduled, but I have not paid much attention since then.

So, I'm in need of a bit of advice. I interviewed here in October and was told we would receive news on 11/4 but I haven't heard anything since the interview. No phone call, but also no email regarding waitlist or rejection. I don't want to come across as annoying to the admissions staff, but I absolutely adored this school and don't want to lose the opportunity to go there if something is amiss. Is anyone else in the same boat having received no word at all? Should I email the admissions team?

Thanks!

If I were you, I would send a cordial email asking about your application status. The staff have always been very pleasant with my email correspondences. Best of luck!!!

Thanks for the advice! Turns out my work email has a very tenacious spam filter that was blocking their communications. The admissions team was very nice and helpful in getting it sorted 🙂

Big primary care scholarship program announced! Looks like it’s a full tuition year for year commitment to practice primary care in Arizona after residency.

+2
Gotta love the line " our hope is that notifying you today will give time to strengthen your application..." 😉

Just got the R post-ii Bummed because I thought it went well and I was excited about the school
