I just received an email saying to take the next steps in my application although when I click the link there is nothing new on the portal? I interviewed here on 10/11.

I checked their site and it says they interview till April 2020 and decisions are released beginning November 2019. I think January/February is still good. If any current med students could provide some insight into the timeline, that'd be great

Does anyone know where to find confirmed interview date? Or if/when they send out more info about the interview? I signed up for the mid-December date but I didn't get any other info or even a confirmation email. When I log into the portal, it just thanks me for scheduling an interview but doesn't say date/time or anything.
 
I got the email to take the next steps but the portal won’t load. Did this happen to anyone else? Any recommendations?

I received my II a while back and I just got a confirmation/interview day schedule email today (interviewing 11/1). So it seems like they’ll send out the confirmation ~1.5-2 weeks in advance of your actual interview date.

If anyone else has this issue, use a computer. It didn't work on my phone or my friend's phone so it seems like that's the issue but immediately worked on my computer once I got access to it.

So do we get like a confirmation/schedule for our interview? I scheduled mine for Jan 10 and my portal just says "thanks for scheduling!" and that's it. I didn't get a confirmation email or anything like that yet

I mean I basically interviewed in June last year and still got in, so I think you’ll be okay lol

I like it a lot! It’s tough and kicking my ass but such is med school. We recently adopted a schedule change where we only go in M-W so I basically have a 4 day weekend every week which is really nice. Classmates are chill plus I get to stay in California so can’t complain there
 
Anyone know if class attendance is mandatory here? I tried to look through the thread but couldn’t find if anyone asked this already

@Kiwi95 on the CUSM website says there will about 120 for the incoming class if Im reading correctly. Is that right? Is the main campus looking like its going to be built in time?

Yeah that sounds about right and the new building is supposed to be complete around April so you guys will get the new shiny building
 
II! My 2nd MD II... got waitlisted at the last one so hopefully I have luck with this one!

I got an email saying to "take your next steps" a few hours ago. I thought they were accidentally emailing me about my secondary again since they sent out mistake emails in the past. So I ignored the email for 3 hours. Little did I know, it was an II... signed up for the earliest date, which was 1/24.

I'm from SoCal so I have high hopes about this one!
 
It doesn't seem like they are going chronologically judging from the wide date spread of those receiving II.
 
Also forgot to add, my complete date was 8/27. It seems to be somewhat random so maybe don't worry too much guys!
 
So the NEO-PR-I and resilience scale is just a personality test? Will our score be a determining factor? Any way to study for this?
 
Does anyone else have trouble signing into their portal? I think its because I'm applying to a couple of other schools that are using the AAMC gateway. I make sure to sign out of each school before trying to sign into the next but am unable. Any recommendation to avoid this problem?
 
Hi all, I recently received my first II (from CUSM) a few days ago and will be attending the interview in January. Can people who have already interviewed or are medical students here let me know what the interview day was like? What can we expect? Do you all have any advice?
 
Does cal med offer a student ambassador/host program?

I’ve had this same problem despite signing out of my other portals prior to attempting to login to calmeds. I recommended contacting their IT email that they provided. They were able to resolve my issue
