I stayed in an Airbnb that cost me an eye for my last Boston interview 🙁

Folks who have interviewed - how open file was your interview? Did your interviewers read your entire file before the interview?

Yeah, I know it isn’t chronologically, which is why I was wondering if anyone complete in mid-July has received an interview invite this month.

Yeah they were both open file. I could tell my first interviewer had read everything in detail. I think my second interviewer did more of a cursory glance, but she did know general information about me. Both interviews weren’t really structured at all. Both of mine went for an hour and were super conversational. They truly just want to get to know you.

Early March: All admissions decisions are sent out via email on the same date, whether candidates are accepted, declined, or waitlisted. Candidates accepted or waitlisted for admission are sent financial aid materials. Families should file tax returns, FAFSA, and Need Access application as soon possible.

Think you may need to fact check your friend
 
Interviewing here soon. I heard that they had medical student interviewers as well as faculty interviewers, does anyone know if the med student interviewers carry as much clout as the faculty one? If I get one faculty/one student am I at a disadvantage?

There’s nothing you can do about it either way, but I would guess you are not at a disadvantage. Just try your best.

I think I remember them saying that the student interviewer has the same amount of influence as the faculty interviewer. You definitely wouldn’t be at a disadvantage either way, the student interviewers (at least the ones I had/heard about) took it very seriously
 
Can anybody who has attended the "casual meet and greet" the night before interview day comment on what to wear?
 
Did anyone end up sending an ITA here to any avail?

edit: also, to anyone who's gotten an II recently, what dates were available?

i was just marked complete, and after I sent another letter through amcas. do u have to contact admissions to have this updated to ur file or does it do so automatically
