No one here really knows. But there is also a "hold for cc". My interpretation is "Hold for Acc" = Acceptance on 10.15, "hold for CC" = Continued consideration later in the cycle.

Why would one be the first 3 letters of acceptance “acc” but the other cc stand fir the first letters of 2 different words? Logically that just doesn’t make sense. And schools can’t hint at acceptance before October 15

My "they can't" does not mean that they LITERALLY can't. It means they can't in the sense that they're not ALLOWED to. It breaks the rules. I was just giving my reasons for being skeptical... im not saying I am right. None of us know!

Also on the Michigan state page it says the dean realized he made a mistake "Just wanted to let you guys know that after I saw the voicemail and listened to it, I did call him back and he did reassure me that the acceptance is real, but he realized after calling so many people that he made a mistake by not waiting lol "

Probably because he left voicemails instead of only telling students that picked up the call. Anyways no point in theory crafting, it happened and can happen but no one knows!
