I did as well. Do you mind providing your stats? I don't know if they screen secondaries.
Yea, my overall LM is 69 with an MCAT of 508 and I did an SMP ended with a 3.8

Edit: based on random online searching I do believe the screen before sending secondaries but I could be wrong

Just received a secondary application yesterday and the video interview page states "This page does not apply to you. Please proceed to the next page.", is this normal?

What is LM? And okay thank you. My mcat is lower than yours, 505 and I also did a masters program and GPA was 3.5. I was nervous because I applied in July and just got a secondary. LOL I'm like this is strange.

Lizzy M score or something, it’s honestly not that important haha. Yea trust me my reaction was the same! I honestly though I’d gotten the silent R and moved on mentally lol

does anyone know if they accept January mcat scores? there are conflicting things online about this for Meharry.

For those of you who submitted your secondary application how long did it take you to hear back about whether you got rejected or invited for an interview? Does Meharry work on a rolling basis?

A little less than a month for me...end of September to end of October

Thank you. Do you happen to know if students that attend Meharry receive a lot of financial aid because it’s pretty expensive tuition each year is $55,000 and I hear the facilities are somewhat outdated. I’m not sure how accurate that information is it’s based on anecdotal stories. Thanks

Not sure. They have aid but you can look at their average student indebtedness on MSAR.

It was actually raining on my interview date so we didn't get a tour of the school. But it seems like a decent school overall.
Good Luck!!

My LM is 60 but did a post bacc and got 4.0. Don’t know if they even look at that. I submitted in late Oct and heard nothing back yet. 🙁

Where do you see it? ApplyWeb website?
I don't know. I don't see it anywhere. But this is what it said on one of the email they sent:
  1. Please remember the following:
    • Complete your application if you have already started. The deadline is January 15th.
    • View your status via "View Your Checklist", or
    • Add updates via "View Your Checklist". Once submitted, this information becomes part of your application. Anything mailed or emailed to our office will NOT become a part of this file.

Mine says,
"Thank you for completing your online application! This e-mail confirms that you have successfully submitted your form.

Your file will be complete when Admissions has received all of the required admissions documents.

To verify that your form data has been sent, received, and confirmed, click on the listing for the institution under "Submitted forms" in your Personal Activity Page at:

On this web page, you will also find links back to the Application Home page and to the institution's web site. We recommend that you check both places for instructions on what to do next and how to check your admissions status from this point forward.

The admissions site will also let you know whether you will be informed regarding acceptance via postal mail or whether notice will be posted on the admissions home page.

If you contact the admissions office, please include your full name and Application ID: "

And then,
"Thank you for your application to Meharry Medical College!
Please be advised that your application is currently under review by the Admissions Committee. Once a decision is made regarding next steps on your application, you will be notified by the Office of Admissions and Recruitment.
Thank you for your interest in the School of Medicine at Meharry Medical College.

Have you found where to check the status of the application? It says there should be a place called "View your checklist" but I haven't found it anywhere, and I don't want to miss any status updates.

Honestly, I'm not sure. I was rejected a few weeks later

What have you guys heard about the school? Things like the facilities, the professors, the match rate, the depth of education, and the culture?

I've been trying to log into my portal and I keep getting a message saying "access denied" . Does anyone else have this problem? I submitted my secondary a while back.

Anyone know if hard Rs have been sent yet pre-II?

There's a different login for the ApplyWeb (or whatever it's called) thing where you can check the app where it shows you your apps for all the schools that had the same service. Meharry is the only one on mine that doesn't show your status I'm pretty sure.

Does anyone else remember admissions telling us at the interview that we would hear the acceptance decision on December 15th? Are they on Christmas break now?

Decisions were just sent out (10 mins ago) for those who have interviewed. Not sure what the cut off date was.

Just got accepted, interviewed in November.

But people getting acceptances without interviews makes me think there may be a glitch.

I don't know how to feel 🙁

So I wanted to accept my acceptance but the portal is telling me to pay a non-refundable deposit of $1600...this has to be another glitch right? 😳

Edit: the decision letter says we need to make the deposit in 10 days....

10 days...non-refundable...$1600.....hm
