Anyone know if it's possible to change interview dates on the portal after scheduling one?

what are thoughts about calling the admissions office and trying to schedule an earlier interview? This feels extremely late

Also, I just want to mention that this is my first interview of the season so for all those who have been having a tough season with no luck, hold out! It's not over till it's over

That is amazing. What are your stats?

Also a question for anyone here. I interview in Feb, when do I find out my status (accepted, rejected, waitlist)? How long does it take for them to tell me which of the three I am? Anyone know? Also is it rare to be outwardly rejected? I’m assuming the WL is heavily used? Honestly, I’d want to know ASAP and not be put in the WL game where I’m likely to get rejected. I know it sounds irrational but I’m kind of tired of all this waiting and just want to get it over with lol.

510/3.81 cGPA, pretty good extracurriculars but I aimed way too high (applied to schools way out of my MCAT league haha- oh my blind confidence!)

Mine was about two weeks, one before he emailed me to set it up and another before it actually happened. Others have been saying that it’s taken a pretty long time, like over a month?
 
When did they say first wave of decisions come out? I vaguely remember something about February

At my interview day, the Dean said that they would send about 200 acceptances in January, but knowing that a majority of those 200 won't end up at Downstate, they will send the rest of the acceptances and other decisions in Mid-February

Ooooh you just made a giant rock appear in my stomach. Good news, but also terrifying.

terrifying! I haven't heard anything about that if it's true. I don't think I talked to a dean of anything at my interview.
 
I also just got an interview, but i’m having trouble scheduling a date..don’t see any available. Anyone else having the same problem? What if they ran out of slots??!? 🙁

Thank you! and yeah I had pretty much figured I wasn't going to hear from them at this point, so I guess you just never know with this process! There is still time!

Also had problems scheduling a date earlier this year. Email the admissions office and they will likely resolve this issue sometime this week (assuming it doesn't resolve itself)
 
II today as well - OOS and complete 8/23. Only dates available for me were Wednesdays in March. Is this weirdly late or is it just me..?
 
I was going to interview but I went online and saw that their mascot is apparently just the letters "MD" with eyes and a stethoscope so I'm just gonna take the R on this one.
