If so, I would guess this as a very surprising exception as I submitted back on 7/3 with yet to hear a thing. I'm sure I'm not the only one way pre-Sep.

100 percent not trying to be a dick -- vtech does a lot of things a little differently since they are such a small selective schools so I genuinely need more info to answer your question.

Do they screen after you submit the primary app?
 
Does anyone from the first weekend of interviews remember when they said initial decisions would be coming out?

Last year’s thread showed phone calls taking place on 10/17, but that year the first weekend of interviews was 8/26 rather than 9/14... so maybe a few more weeks still?

When I interviewed, they said for the first group (1st week and 2nd week), they will hear about their decision before November comes. Fingers crossed for all of us! hope we all get that A's!!!
 
Anyone not submit the secondary and get the “pre screened may be qualified for interview” email? Didn’t submit a secondary cause realized VT most likely a donation for me.
 
Anyone else also complete beginning of September and haven't heard anything yet?

Any post-II decisions at all here?
 
Does anyone have any general pointers about the MMI here? I know you can’t disclose specifics, but I am wondering about the general stress level and how it compares to other MMIs. I have my interview in a few days and I’ve never done this style of interview before
 
Hard question: anyone knows how many people they get from California?

Nope, sadly.

I wonder if there’s a stigma for California students. Got a first day interview. Felt like it went great. Didn’t get a phone call.

Just got the email about active status pool 🙁 which I assume is what they call their waitlist
