+3 similar stats, good EC's (I hope), IS and nothing. It is kind of frustrating that we only have one option for in state tuition and yet it feels like one of my greatest reach schoolsSame. IS, 517. Having a phenomenal cycle but also nothing from CU.
we manifested it and were left in the dust. Long road ahead stuck in dead stop traffic.Manifested this II wave and they forgot about me... sad. Haha, OOS ORM LM 73-4, service orientation + research. Holding out hope though, love this school even though no ties. Like @dindjarin87 shared, long road ahead
For those who received ii, did the ii show up under the communication tab of your app as well? Or was it just in your emails? Thanks and congrats![]()
I got an II here but nothing (so far) from either of my state schools, whose stats are similar to Colorado's. It's a weird process, that's for sure.+3 similar stats, good EC's (I hope), IS and nothing. Yeah there was an email saying that should be resolved by the morning!Hey, for anybody who has interviewed or will interview tomorrow:
Does anybody have only 2 “Start Interview” buttons? My first interview does not show a symbol/button in the portal. I don’t know if this is a technical issue or is just added tomorrow.

I think they look at the group activity, group interview, and individual interview as a whole so there’s a lot of different data points they have to look at so I wouldn’t stress too much!Ugh how bad is it if you didn't do so well on a couple of the solo interview questions... In my one interview =[
+1 🙁
Congrats! What date is your interview?I got an II here but nothing (so far) from either of my state schools, whose stats are similar to Colorado's. It's a weird process, that's for sure.
I submitted my secondary on 9/30 and have yet to hear back as well 3.3 cgpa and 518 mcat. Honestly the wait is the worse part.Anyone else who submitted their AMCAS in September with meh GPA and MCAT still waiting to hear back about secondary app determination? I'm realistic that my chances aren't super high but the wait is killing me a bit.
Accepted via phone call earlier today!!! OOS interviewed 10/9
Good to know! My MCAT unfortunately wasn't nearly that niceI submitted my secondary on 9/30 and have yet to hear back as well 3.3 cgpa and 518 mcat. Honestly the wait is the worse part.
JUST GOT THE CALL!! First acceptance ever. I sounded like a bumbling idiot hahaha but IM SO HAPPY
Congrats! What date is your interview?Just received II out of state!! woohoo. Complete 7/29. Congrats to all the accepted people today!!
that is so awesome! Congrats 🙂 any advice on interviews?
Did anybody who interview feel weird about the solo interviews? I don’t know if it’s just me overthinking, but I was not asked anyyyy of the traditional questions (Why Medicine, Why Us, etc.). I answered the questions fine, we shared a couple of smiles/laughter, but I don’t know what to think of this.
For those curious: Just be yourself! You really don’t have to stress the group exercise/interview at all. Just be a kind human and you’ll do amazing, seriously! I cannot overstate this enough.
+1My individual interview was a little bit awkward too. It just felt like a robotic Q and A, interviewer asked something, I gave what I thought was a good answer (although they were some odd ball questions for sure). And then the interviewer just starts asking the next question. Didn’t feel natural at all.

Probably one of the least conversational interviews I’ve had. Just straight question and answer
I scheduled mine for 12/11 but there was a November date available.Congrats! What date is your interview?
Daughter received first A. Interviewed 10/9. IS. LM 76.Big A received!! also my first acceptance 🙂 IS interviewed 10/9!
Congrats to your daughter! Did she get the call yesterday or today?Daughter received first A. Interviewed 10/9. IS. LM 76.
That's good to know. From what I saw on this thread, everyone reported an acceptance call got it on the same Friday for the first interview date, but obviously SDN doesn't have every applicant on here.I didn't interview until later, but they told us specifically in the Q&A panel not everybody would hear back from acceptances the same day, since Dean SooHoo has to call everybody himself.

They told us 4-6 weeks as well. I hope you're right! Also, I don't know about your group, but 10/9 was only 2.5 weeks ago, and we were told we would hear back within 4-6 weeks, so maybe they are just rolling them in slowly? 🙂
No phone call, interviewed 10/9, guessing I didn't get in?
Yesterday. Undergrad senior. Secondary complete 7/15.Congrats to your daughter! Did she get the call yesterday or today?
I wouldn't say it's tough in terms of having to answer difficult/tricky questions (though their questions involved more MMI-type scenarios than I expected), I think it's more about staying calm and positive even if your interviewer isn't giving you a lot of facial cues and they're not really putting you at ease with conversation lolseems like the interview here is tough....kinda scared
Yeah same. I thought my interview went okay, but definitely not great by any means. I’m pretty sure I won’t be getting the A...
Update: got placed on “alternate list” just minutes ago.
Oof. Anyone know what are the chances of coming off this list and getting an A later? Is it essentially their version of a waitlist?
It's ranked. They do high, middle, and low tiers and send it out in an email of your tier much later in the cycle. I was on high priority last cycle and never made it off of it...Is the alternate list ranked or unranked? I read from last cycle that it was ranked I believe and that people were getting in from the highest priority list.
