Ayo @bugsbunny25 and @southside24,

I personally didn't send anything post-interview other than some quick acknowledgements the day of; I had no real noteworthy updates to report in the time following.

That all being said, N=1, and it's well known that Georgetown loves that thicc sustained interest. Might be worth sending something, especially given the extended wait time that might come with the holidays.

I've seen a few people in this thread with IA in their signature, can someone tell me what that stands for? Been trying to figure it out for a while 😅

i was complete 9/16 and have not heard anything back, is there are anyone in the same boat?

WL just now. Interviewed 9/30
+1 .... from reading through this forum and additionally seeing that last cycle they offered 390 acceptances to fill ~200 spots I’d say it makes sense they waitlist a lot of people. My uninformed opinion is that they offer outright acceptances to “low-yield” applicants who they don’t necessarily think they’d be able to get for whatever reasons and then those that show a lot of interest they are more willing to offer acceptances to off the waitlist thus raising their “acceptances offered to accepted offers ratio.” Especially seeing as someone previously commented like everyone in their class was waitlisted. So I definitely would not give up for for all that are waitlisted!

Did accepted students receive an acceptance email on the same day as well? I'm out of the country and if accepted, won't be able to receive the call.

Anyone attending the student/faculty panel today at 6? I’d be missing it because I have to be at work.

Just got the MD/PHD app update email. Really nervous. Good luck to all of the MD/PHD applicants. Rooting for all of you.

When Georgetown said 10-12 weeks do we count the week of the 25th and the 31st??? or these not considered???? wondering if one could hear news during those weeks.
