UMich adcoms on SDN looking at hopeful premeds who still havent gotten their Rs be like
 
Worth it to try and slide in a desperate letter of interest today or nah?

Edit: Complete mid-August and no II or R yet.

I sent a letter of interest/update letter last week. You have nothing to lose!

Awesome! Thanks! A quick LOI, it is (I already have most of one drafted, so it shouldn't be too hard to polish it up quickly!)
 
To the people who uploaded additional updates/letters via the portal - are you able to see what you uploaded on the "Additional Uploads" section? I uploaded a quick update a little while ago, but have no idea if it went through. My section says "Update My Application" and has 5 slots to upload a file underneath.

Well, the tracker says 434 interviews scheduled* and MSAR says they interviewed 507.
I thought the interview invite number estimate was about 25/Monday. So that would mean about 3-4 more to go.

It would seem so, but the last interview day is 2/5, which is rapidly approaching. So probably 1-2 more.
 
Just got the A!!!!!! (Actually at 9:16 am this morning, but was busy all day.) Completed secondary in late august and interviewed early December. Didn't send an update. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting! It's such a hard cycle this year :/. You got this!
 
Does anyone know if it is better to combine updates and a letter of interest into one in general? Was wondering if it was better to submit it separately bc it would be much more than a page if both are combined (and if adcoms prefer a certain way over the other?)
 
Yeah their twitter hasn't had an update yet, and the past few Monday tweets have been around 3 or 4 pm so there's still time!

I thought they tweeted AFTER sending out all the IIs and assumed that they don't send all IIs at once.
Anyways, good luck to all. Let's all await the flurry of IIs later today!
 
Who is even getting these IIs?? Nobody has mentioned an II on here in a while
