Came here cause I just got the R 🙁 at least I see I feel less alone now, seems like they sent out a big wave this morning. It was always a reach but still a disappointment. Got two other rejections this morning too. Good luck everyone 🙂 on to the next!

I have only heard of rejections and holds being sent for dates up to november 23rd. The latest acceptances I have seen were either from the October 27th or November 2nd, but those weren't specific to MSTPs

I interviewed October 5th/7th for the MSTP and also nothing...

Pretty sure they haven’t. One of my friends interviewed in September and hasn’t heard anything either.

I think they might be waiting till 2 weeks after the last interview dates (which was last week) - just my hypothesis though. They didn’t say 2-2.5 weeks during my II btw

In the interview this week they said they were about to send out a few MSTP acceptances. So it seems they already made up their mind to some extent.

Hmm, if you survived this morning’s massacre of an R-Wave, I would say there’s still hope for you tbh.

On that note, NYU gave me my 2nd R (pre-II) of the cycle. 3.95/525, w/ 1000+ hrs of clinical/research exp.

They didn't say exactly when they were going to send them out, but it sounded like either this week or next week. Also not sure whether or not there's another week of interviews.

It was Pitt, which I didn’t care much about in all honesty.

I did this same thing but it worked for other school so idk

The T20s despite thinking would have near identical criteria, have unpredictable results. I think Pitt might yield protect from the very high-stay apps.
