:/ Goodluck!! Yeah I have back to back interviews for other schools as well but don't worry it'll be fine! and I still haven't heard back for an alternate date.

btw I was complete 7/18
 
II (well unofficial email invite). LM 78, OOS. Complete 8/13 (secondary submitted + everything but committee letter submitted mid July)

They sent one date. I had an interview that day I scheduled earlier, so I emailed back saying I couldn't make it bc of the interview and gave my availability for the rest of the month. They responded w/in a couple hrs. it was kinda awkward to bring that up, but I figured they'd be understanding about other interviews.

Gotcha, I've been waiting to hear back about another date since tuesday..It's kind of annoying bc I gave my availability for the month, but I'm worried I'll get another invite with limited dates and have another conflict with NJMS 🙁

I honestly have no clue how many people they take in from the program. I have hope that they will accept as many students as they see are qualified and fit their program. Have any of you heard back from the admissions office or SGS?

They only emailed me back to say that they needed my verified score report, which I sent back. No reply yet though. You?

Same story for me. I feel so much better knowing I'm not alone and you guys are going through the same thing. I'm praying that blessings will come our way
 
Does anyone know if there have been any big waves of interviews? Or when they might start? It seems like only a few RD candidates received interviews and even then it just appeared last minute and not like an official interview day

HI all. First-time applicant to Rutgers NJMS. I just submitted my secondary and now joining the waiting game but have not gotten a complete email. Its been prob 30 mins so not too worried but just wanted to ask if they have one or how long it took you all.

OOS. URM
AMCAS verified on 8/12
MCAT retake 8/14 with score release 9/1.
Added Rutgers 9/3 or 9/4 and just submitted secondary now 9/24.

I’m pretty sure ED selections are complete and they’ll be moving on to RD. A few days ago NJMS sent out a generic email to accepted students stating that our hard copy acceptance letters were sent in the mail.

on their website under the ED tab they state “We do NOT wait until October 1, which is the customary ED program deadline” to alert candidates of their acceptance

for you RD folks expect to be notified in the near future for II’s (be sure to remember that NJMS reviews candidates on a rolling basis, so the earlier your entire app was 100% complete the sooner you’ll hear back from them)
 
When is the earliest date that RD applicants have gotten the call?

When can us plebs (medium stat applicants) expect to hear back regarding interview invites/admissions decisions?

Do you know when they will start giving acceptances to RD?
 
Are these second interviews mandatory or optional? Previous years, second interviews were optional i think
