Does anyone know when we can expect waitlist movement?
ah okay same, i interviewed 12/112/15, nothing yet!
Also curious about this I kind of thought maybe with the next round of decisions since December was devoted to reviewing IS apps and it seems from this small sample size that most of the WL are from OOSDoes anyone know when we can expect waitlist movement?
I feel like the 22nd or the 29th might be big days, but that's just wishful thinking and anxiety speaking lolAlso curious about this I kind of thought maybe with the next round of decisions since December was devoted to reviewing IS apps and it seems from this small sample size that most of the WL are from OOS
I also interviewed 12/1 and I hope they tell us the decisions this week, it has been so longah okay same, i interviewed 12/1
Only if you already have/had an interview, not if you’re hoping for onedoes anyone know if they are receptive to letters/emails of intent?

Did you just get the email or did it come in around 1?? Trying to substantiate my theory that it's not too late for me to hear today lolAccepted!!!! WHAT?!?!?!?! holy hell!!!

Are people who have been accepted IS or OOS?
+ 1 OOS but New England resident 🙂I'm OOS!
OOS with no ties!Interviewed mid November, waitlisted! Hopeful to see some movement! OOS Good luck 🙂
True P/F, no rankings preclinical years. You can score “with honors” or some equivalent during clerkship and will be eligible for honor society stuff based on your grading during last 2 years as well.is this school true pass/fail or are there internal rankings?
OOS accepted today 🙏🏻
Is there a GroupMe for accepted students?
OOS?Got off the WL today!
yep !OOS?
Also a OOS New England and I think they wait to send Rs until after their last interview day. I'm not sure when that is, but I am hoping there is still some hope.Does anyone know if UVM waits until the end of the cycle to send out Rs? I scrolled back through a few pages of this thread and didn't notice anyone mentioning a rejection. I'm OOS but from New England. UVM is one of my top 5 choices. I submitted 8/11 but haven't heard a peep since.
Any tips for the interview? Interviewing Friday 1/29
Has anybody else not received the further instructions email for the interview yet? My interview is on Wednesday and I figured I would get something yesterday but nothing
My interview is on Wednesday too and I didn't receive the instructions or the link yet.Has anybody else not received the further instructions email for the interview yet? My interview is on Wednesday and I figured I would get something yesterday but nothing yet
We basically complete the Pre-Clinical Curriculum in 1.5 years so we have more time for Clinicals. February 1st-March 13th is Dedicated Step Time and 3/13 is the last day to take the exam (the exact date changes every year). This is different from most schools but a lot of schools are shifting towards this style, especially with Step 1 going P/F, it doesn't really matter as much.I have two questions for current students:
I see that STEP I is taken in spring of the second year, before clinical rotations. Is this different than most schools? I thought that most students in the US took the exam in the summer after M2. When do you study for STEP I at UVM?
Can anyone offer further insight from personal experience into characteristics of the Vermont vs Connecticut campus beyond what is offered on the website?
