I’m assuming it’s not good? I think it’s best to say we are reject until further communication unfortunatelyHey, I still haven't been reviewed either. Do you think that is a soft rejection?
Its not a good sign. Its getting late for anyone in the cycle. Since their interviews go through Feb and maybe a week or 2 of march?I’m assuming it’s not good? I think it’s best to say we are reject until further communication unfortunately
Sorry just to confirm, do they accept post-II update if you are on hold? I interviewed like September and have new activitiesOh definitely not then — maybe if you’re waitlisted but not now
So its worth reaching out to Gale or Dr whitehurst via email. If you are on post II hold you have already received your final score that will dictate if you are accepted or not. An update will not change that score. It will essentially just be written in the notes next to your name. I would imagine its worth waiting u9ntil you have a decision. But just email and see what the8y have to saySorry just to confirm, do they accept post-II update if you are on hold? I interviewed like September and have new activities
this is very specific, essentially insider, info. Can you share how you know the process so deeply at this school? Very useful insights here.So its worth reaching out to Gale or Dr whitehurst via email. he doesn'tI'm like 95% certain TallDoc attends VCU.
So he doesnt know ****he doesn't
not to be that neurotic pre-med, but i tried to log in since it's ~around that time~ and it says my page doesn't exist 🥴Today is another release day!! The last two occurred around noon CST I believe. Good luck to all you post-ii peeps waiting for those tabs 😁
Are you doing it from your phone? Mine says that too from my phone. Try logging in on a laptop!not to be that neurotic pre-med, but i tried to log in since it's ~around that time~ and it says my page doesn't exist 🥴

No anyone who interviewed knows this infoSo he doesnt know ****
I have not received the “placed on hold.” Does that mean I lost my chance and they have already rejected me?That's not insider information, it's well-known information given out at the interview. At least about being put on hold post-II. They said in the interview that is a good thing. Essentially there is a 1-5 ranking (lower rank = better). Anyone with a 4 or 5 is rejected and anyone with 1-3 is placed on hold and considered for admission. They will never tell you your ranking; that is purely for them to know. I can't comment on how valuable updates are, but I agree with @Talldoctor96 that it probably wouldn't do much. It may not matter when it comes to regular acceptances but maybe it comes into play when it comes to waitlists. If a person withdraws their A and VCU is looking to replace with a similar student (perhaps based on scores, demographic, IS/OOS, etc), then I could see updates coming into play. But I've never seen Talldoctor try to be anything but helpful across multiple school threads.
I'm not sure, but I wouldn't think so. I think whether the answer will be a hold placement or rejection, you'll receive an email that there is a new communication. Then you'll have to log into the portal and check. You can drive yourself crazy and continuously log into the portal to see if they've posted anything, or you can relax and wait to get the email about new communication. I recommend the latter!I have not received the “placed on hold.” Does that mean I lost my chance and they have already rejected me?

Mine was 2 weeks ago and I remeber they mentioned that they will meet on the following Monday to discuss. But I don’t know 🙁If you've interviewed, it just means they haven't met to review your file yet. I know some people who interviewed right before the last acceptance date in December did not get a hold until January. There is still hope!
Are you on hold?I interviewed 1/12, really hope to hear from them soon
no im not, do i have to be on hold to hear today? Are you on hold?
I am not sure cause I haven’t received it either. And I saw a post that someone got in without receiving the hold. So Idk 😖no im not, do i have to be on hold to hear today?
yeah im on hold and i haven't heard anything yetI don't think they have released anything yet today
Anyone from 1/14 interview day is on hold and waiting to hear?
I am not on hold and I don’t know what that means.Yes, I am! Obsessively waiting lol
Same fam! Still no tabs for me today yet. PATIENCE is a virtue I am struggling with this afternoon!I interviewed in October and am still on hold 😭 I hope there’s still a chance for me haha
Congrats! Have you been on hold since then?Just got the tabs! 😭
Interviewed 10/8, OOS, ORM, LM 70
Yes! I got the hold message on my portal within a few days of my interview and got passed over on the 10/16 and 12/16 release days!Congrats! Have you been on hold since then?
Congrats!!!I have the "file status" thing with the transcripts and instate eligibility... but no "on hold" status post II..... is this what I think it means??
What was the message on your portal post interview if not on hold?I have the "file status" thing with the transcripts and instate eligibility... but no "on hold" status post II..... is this what I think it means??
I have the same one. Thank you!Your interview is now complete! The Committee will now do a review of your application. Once this review is complete, you will receive a status update regarding your profile.
Wondering the same thing. Are these released all at once? (Sry if this has been asked before)if i don't have tabs rn, does that mean i didn't get in today?

It’s not over until it’s over but. But let’s just say it’s probably the Top of the ninth and you’re down 2 runs and they’re bringing in their closer.@Talldoctor96 if we still are on sub-committee at this point, this means we likely wont get an II correct?
thanks for the suggestion! admissions office told me that they do accept post-II updates. So its worth reaching out to Gale or Dr whitehurst via email.
