I don't think they are going to be postponed, I think it's just late. The 10/29 results came out a little before 5 PM. None of the dates have had consistent times, unfortunately. Good luck to all the November interviewees though!

It feels like the release times are at weird hours looking from the perspective of a 9-5 workday, the fact that they are a day late sometimes, and how the December release got postponed. This isn't even me being rude either I just am curious as to what is happening.

Agreed. It makes me wonder about how the administration runs the school writ large. Like, is everything chaotic?

I expect* major WL/deferred/hold movement in April/May this year because I feel like a lot of schools are cautious to hand out As post-II and would rather utilize the WL and feel the cycle out

Edit: this is just my speculation which means absolutely nothing. I don't have WL->A stats from the last cycle nor did I follow its WL movement closely. Also, PTE and CTE force everyone's hands so schools scramble last minute to fill seats and utilize their WL heavy in April/May so that's when you should expect most movement, regardless of the year. Anecdotally have heard this from adcoms at other schools as well
 
I interviewed on 11/17 and haven't gotten an email yet today. Does this mean that it was a deferral/rejection? I was super hopeful about today.

I forget where I heard this but apparently last year a lot of schools sent out more IIs than usual because they could hear from good applicants all over the country after going virtual for interviews, but it didn't end up mattering much. So this year they're being more cautious instead and sending their normal number of IIs. Probably has to do with them playing with the waitlists now too
 
For people that didn't get an email today. Do you know if we will hear back over the weekend or on monday?
