Random question. I was wondering if it's preferred to do interviews in the AM or PM slot? I was thinking maybe in the AM slot the interviewers might be fresher whereas in the afternoon PM slots they'll be more tired?
Hard to speculate. You could make arguments for the other way around. It's MMI, so the idea is that because you have multiple people assessing you, even if a few are tired (although I am not sure about what you think this implies for how they score you) or a few feel a bit lukewarm towards you, having positive experiences at the other stations can overcome one less than ideal scenario.

Is anyone having issues with letters of recommendation on the status page still being marked as "not received" but in the notes column marked as "received?" My LOR's were marked received weeks ago but I still have a red X on them indicating they were not received and my application is still "not ready."

It says to give it 48 hours but I completed this secondary about a week ago and it still hasn't cleared up. Should I reach out to admissions?

I have all green checkmarks but haven't received the complete email so I reached out and they said "There is a technical issue occurring with our system and marking letters of recommendation complete. Once that is resolved, we will be in touch and confirm that they have been received. Thank you for your patience and understanding." Hope that helps!

Same but I only submitted last week
I submitted about 5-6 days ago and got a complete email as soon as I submitted the secondary. Is this sorted out for you both now? I'd contact them if not! Or maybe they're having technical issues

Did anyone receive an email saying we won't hear back until March after interviewing yesterday? Was that a mistake, or are we really hearing nothing until March? I thought the dean of admissions mentioned December. Help.

You're correct, they start in December.

I also received that email. Although it was said they would start in December. I think it’s a mistake.

Hi friends, does anyone know if any of the stations are closed/open file? I'm thinking about my tell me about yourself and I don't want to be egregiously repetitive of my AMCAS if they already read that

Only one station is open file and the rest are closed file. You only have enough time to say your full name and not much else in the closed file rooms. Maybe others had different experiences but this was the case for me!

Does anyone know if we are expected to monologue for 7 minutes at Zucker SOM MMIs? Or are there usually follow-up questions?

I would say keep your answers to 3-4 minutes max. There will be follow-up questions and I think it can make for a more interesting discussion. I never took up the full 6 minutes, and the interviewers always had 3-4 follow-up questions

I am curious what people who have more than 3 LoRs chose to do since the admissions site says "Applicants may submit more than three LoRs... though we do not guarantee that all letters beyond the minimum requirement will be read." Did you submit your top 3 letters to make sure all 3 are read, or submit more than 3 and hope that the admissions committee doesn't skip reading a good letter?

I submitted way more than 3 letters. I interviewed early, so I guess it didn't hurt. No way of knowing if they read all of them though.

Any recent IIs? If so, when was the earliest available interview date for you? I received an invitation on Sep 17th and the earliest date available when I booked was November 12th. I'm wondering if any earlier dates became available after I booked? There seems to be no way to find out without first giving up the spot on Nov 12th. Any thoughts?
You can also call the school to ask!

Anyone know how relaxed they are with the interview? And also do they actually ask mostly ethical based questions like most MMI's?
