Yes. Radio silence from all UCsadditional question, are there a lot of people still out there complete in July with no II and no hold?
I was complete late July, complete silence so far. It's my alma mater so I'm really hoping I hear back but also I feel like UCSD hates its own undergrads hahaadditional question, are there a lot of people still out there complete in July with no II and no hold?
this is true for secondary screen as well?Alumnus here - complete early august, Radio Silence... From what I know the timeline depends on your screener. Some are faster than others. Also, if your App has some blemishes, (but they still like you) you might be placed in a certain category for re-review, which is done by a different person. ( This is different than pre-II hold)
Do not worry. Focus on yourselves and continued growth. A medical student once told me, "you bloom where you are planted."
I wish you all the best of luck!!
I am not sure.this is true for secondary screen as well?
Sorry has anyone with lower than a 3.5 gpa got a interview invite?
I interpreted it as before OR on Friday!anyone who interviewed on or before October 14th, do they mean decisions will be released before Friday 10/29 (in their email they say "by 10/29")? or do we interpret this as decisions will be released on Friday?
I have less than a 3.4x GPA undergrad GPA (grad GPA is 3.7x) and I got a secondary from UCSD. No II or hold yet though.Bruh idek if we are getting SECONDARIES let alone an interview

750 interviewees for 134 spots…. Ouch
Unfortunately, UCSD's post II acceptance rate is like ~35%. Not sure if it includes waitlist acceptances or notIf you’re good enough for UCSD you’d probably have multiple acceptances from elsewhere. As a result shools like UCSD have to accept 2-3x their class size so their post-II acceptance rate is probably around 40-50% which isn’t that bad.
Still a lot better than what would be a <15% post-II rateUnfortunately, UCSD's post II acceptance rate is like ~35%. Not sure if it includes waitlist acceptances or not
Yea that would be awful. I just mention UCSD's because it is on the lower end compared to other schoolsStill a lot better than what would be a <15% post-II rate
Yeah I'm IS as well, grew up Norcal, undergrad and grad school at a UC in SoCal.^^^ almost identical stats... plus IS, so-cal resident
during the interview admissions said only emailDo they usually email or call for acceptances?

Aww I'm so sorry to hear that! I wish there was a way to know what makes the difference between WL and A.me..i felt SO good
I felt pretty strong about my MMI, but not too confident since I felt that their prompts were more difficult than some of my other MMIsFor the people who got accepted, how did you feel about your interview? In the past, I heard that some people felt bad about the MMI, but still got the A.
Thank you for sharing your experience! If it's okay, I started a chat with you in regards to this topic.I felt pretty strong about my MMI, but not too confident since I felt that their prompts were more difficult than some of my other MMIs
