They haveHas UCLA sent any rejections yet? I feel like I should have heard SOMETHING by now?
Pre-secondary or post secondary rejections? They have
Not surePre-secondary or post secondary rejections?
Ive seen mostly pre-secondary.Not sure
Based on last year's thread, it seems like many August/September interviewers did not hear back for acceptances until December/January and beyond.I interviewed 9/20 and radio silence so far, but maybe that's true for most people and not an indicator of "silent waitlist".
I feel like Iāve always been a fairly patient person but this process has made my patience dwindle down to a lowly 0.Based on last year's thread, it seems like many August/September interviewers did not hear back for acceptances until December/January and beyond.
July applicant who hasn't heard back on if I got an interview yet... painBased on last year's thread, it seems like many August/September interviewers did not hear back for acceptances until December/January and beyond.
Have you already interviewed? I believe only people who have interviewed get them!i am just simply not getting these brown bag emails, should i be concerned?
I got one before an interview, just a few minutes after my invite.Have you already interviewed? I believe only people who have interviewed get them!
dang they really went straight for it huh.I got one before an interview, just a few minutes after my invite.
Congratulations! Thatās so awesome! What dates are they having the interviews?Interview invite just now! I am so hyped. Only UC school I applied to and I was not expecting to hear back. OOS, URM, 71 LM, and complete 8/13.
Thank you! I was only able to choose from two dates in the second week of December.Congratulations! Thatās so awesome! What dates are they having the interviews?
I haven't interviewed either, but I haven't been getting the brown bag emails... ~panicking~I havenāt even interviewed yet and I jump out of my chair when I see those darned things
professionalHi everyone! how was the interview attire? bussiness casual or profesional? Thank you!!
just to clarify for people, they only send brown bags to people who have interviews/interviewedI haven't interviewed either, but I haven't been getting the brown bag emails... ~panicking~
Admissions have a separate timeline for everyone. When were acceptance notifications released 2 weeks ago? I am anxiously awaiting a decision
HUGE CONGRATS!! How long ago did you interview?Just got the A via email!!! Ahhhhhhhhh
10/8!HUGE CONGRATS!! How long ago did you interview?
They moved their interview dates to January so probably taking a bit longer this year.Y'all have they started sending out PRIME interview invites yet? Complete 7/28 PRIME and worrying about the radio silence here!
Not necessarily, because I was complete very early and got an interview after a large batch of applicants.I was complete 8/9 here and haven't heard anything. Judging by the fact that people past my date got IIs, does this pretty much mean it's over for me? Apparently, they interview for regular MD "through November or until their class is filled." Just feeling really sad because this is my alma mater, employer, and I did my post-bacc here. š
The website says they send II July - Dec and interview Aug - Jan. I was complete around the same time as you š¤š½I was complete 8/9 here and haven't heard anything. Can I ask when your interview is scheduled for?II yesterday, OOS, Complete Sept 22nd, LM 71.5, WARS 88

It would be quite useless, tbh, especially if you have no significant update. Is it okay to send letter of interests pre-II?
Unless thereās an update with information that adds to your application, Iām not sure that itās worth much in the eyes of adcoms? With places like UCLA, Iām not even sure they look at update or interest letters pre-II, but canāt say for sure.Is it okay to send letter of interests pre-II?
I am also curious about this. I would like to send a letter of intent as UCLA is my top choice, but as a Texas resident I am scared I might get yield protected out.For those that got the A, did you submit any letter of interest/intent or anything in the document upload tab of the application portal?
I'm so sorry this happened to you. I'm an MS1 at UCLA and I know that the admissions team would want to hear about this. They are very receptive to this sort of feedback. I would tell someone.Anyone else experience a really bad faculty interview? Like the faculty explicitly stating they "had a long clinic day and now I have to top it off with interviews"... and proceeding to have the same attitude of not wanting to be there for the entirety of the interview? Not really sure what I should do about this (if anything at all), but scared it'll hurt my chances of getting in
Not sure about UCLA, but a similar thing happened to me at Irvine and I sent a polite but strongly worded email to admissions expressing my frustration and they gave me another interview on a later date with a different faculty. They were super apologetic on the interviewers behalf.Anyone else experience a really bad faculty interview? If they gave you another interview, I would think thatās a good thing because that first interview probably wasnāt even scored. Not sure about UCLA, but a similar thing happened to me at Irvine and I sent a polite but strongly worded email to admissions expressing my frustration and they gave me another interview on a later date with a different faculty. However, I have yet to get my decision from them so I donāt know if it hurt me to complain š but I figured my interviewers score of me was so bad complaining couldnāt be worse lmao
N=1 so grain of salt on this lol
I think there's been very few A's based on the replies on this threadFor those that got the A, did you submit any letter of interest/intent or anything in the document upload tab of the application portal?
