Unless I'm mistaken, nobody has reported having been invited to interview for their later weeks (11/1, 12/6, and 1/3), and the latest secondary submission after which someone has reported an II was on 9/1.

Pure conjecture, but I would guess that several II's will go out this week or next week for the week of 11/1.

Edit: I'm only talking about the IS Seattle cohort.

I got the pre-II R. This was my first choice (and for those wondering, I am IS and UW alumna) so it hurts. Oh, well. Gotta brush it off and focus on prepping for an upcoming interview. Wishing you all the very best luck with your application cycle.

They state on their website that most Seattle decisions aren’t made until early spring. My guess is that they hold a few acceptances for unicorns/outstanding applicants, but send the bulk of acceptances later.

I never received a response when I emailed their general admissions email. It is very frustrating. I understand they're busy, but they should improve their communication with applicants. It was the same thing last cycle too.

I'm curious what the turnaround time is looking like.
I only just recently got the secondary as OOR so I'll be working on this for a bit, don't want to rush it... has anyone here gotten an II as OOR, and if so, what was the turnaround like? It looks like a decent number of in-region people are hearing back after ~4-5 weeks.
(Statistically speaking, I'm probably shouting into a void here.)

Agreed!!! I think it might be because I'm on the later side?? Like that they had a big hump already and now the response time is up because there are less applicants at once. I work at UW so I'd love to think that has some impact but I highly doubt it lol

I'm hoping they let you schedule for December interviews as well. I got my II on Monday and my only option was to schedule the interview one week later!
