I called admissions to ask when I could expect to hear back (interviewed in August), and they said within the next month.

Just wanted to clear something up WL info on MSAR is wrong: Vermont absolutely does not send out 200 WL acceptances.

They said they put a lot of people on the waitlist at first to be conservative, and MSAR says 200 acceptances off the waitlist happened... so stay positive!

I interviewed 10/1 so I am assuming I won't be finding out until mid/late November ...

Not mid-September but complete 9/7 and received II on 10/15. LM 66 and OOS.

I'm not sure, but it's still early! People say to worry more by Thanksgiving, and I have plenty of friends who received their only II in January-March and matriculated.

I'm nervous too! But if you look at last year's thread, the acceptances were very staggered. Some people with later interview dates (ex. October) were hearing back before those with August/September dates - then, later on, some people that interviewed in the earlier months were accepted.

Don't lose hope! You got this.

They said they were waitlisting more people than normal this year and expected to take a ton more people off the list this year than they ever had so although I know it's super tough we should try to stay optimistic. Bummed out but hoping for the best for all of us <3

As someone who has been here way too damn long at this point, last time I applied (2018-2019) end of July, got the pre-II R in Feb. This is not to say that II’s don’t go out during these between months, just to say keep holding.
