I just spoke with them on the phone and apparently they were having IT issues and that's why there weren't any emails sent yesterday

I think you need tabs to get the email, but maybe more tabs will go out if the IT issue stopped that. I think its doubtful though.

Just curious. Newbie here. After II do they get to reject list first or give all decision at same time. My board has nothing infact did not even go thru committee sub commitee etc. was invited straight to interview

I will literally take anything at this point to confirm that I have been accepted. Even just a congratulations message.

same I am waiting to tell friends and family until I actually get something tangible. As my first A I am incredibly grateful but this is a frustrating way to find out

Has anyone else been getting an error message whenever they try logging onto the applicant portal if they haven't checked it in awhile? If I close it and reopen it in a new tab I can get to the portal but it's been happening to me today so maybe they're still having technical issues

oh it's happening to me for a long time. I don't think that's a special hint about acceptance or rejections. It was a hint about we may not get the result on time though😀

how long are people normally in the "File Review is now complete" stage for before hearing back regarding II or R? It's been perhaps 2 weeks for me and I'm wondering why I haven't heard back yet - surely if it was an R they would have done so straight away?? does anyone have any input?

Lol, I'm still stuck in the previous stage before it (complete early July). Last cycle though, I remember being in the "file review complete" stage from September until March

I heard back within 5 days. I would think a rejection would've been quick, so it most likely is good news?

Now that I can breathe wanted to give an update! I interviewed Oct 7th and never got the A/WL hold and I just received the acceptance email update! My status never changed from the "Congrats on your interview" till now!

Same here! I interviewed on 10/14 and mine never changed from the "Congrats on your interview" message either.

It looks like it varies from person to person. I was on "a member of the committee" for a month. Sometimes VCU moves your application along through the process and just don't update the portal. For example, someone earlier in the thread went straight from subcommittee to II, so they skipped 2 stages.

It could be that the poster simply got advanced but didn’t see it happen. When I moved to subcommittee from member of the committee, they never emailed me.

I was checking each day, and I moved straight from subcommittee to interview invite in the span of 24 hours. My portal never updated to admissions or file review complete! Not sure if they just don’t update some portals, or I actually moved that quick through the process though

I think they probably didn’t update your portal. I doubt the admin would’ve been able do all that within 1 workday.

It’s all automatic - nobody’s manually updating anything

There are no good or bad signs with any portal updates prior to “your file review is complete” it just means you are currently in no mans land until your review is finished

has anyone paid the matriculation fee yet? after submitting it, the pay enrollment fee tab disappeared from my portal. just making absolutely sure this is normal after submitting payment and not some weird portal issue...
