For those that interviewed from OOS — were you asked if you’d stay in AR after med school? I read some people have been asked this, just curious/how you responded

I sent an email to the main admission person thanking them and the two people that interviewed me. I sent it a week late. After they had already mailed me a thank you letter for coming to the interview. It was kind of embarrassing, to be honest, but I had a good reason for doing it so late.
 
Will my 4th quartile Capser result take me off hold? ARCOM, please send me a secondary, please! 🤣🤣🤣

Congrats on your II.

I'm on pre-secondary hold as of 8/21. I got my score this morning, which means they got it 2 weeks ago, so I guess that didn't sway them. I'll just have to sit tight.

when did u get the primary received email?
i haven't heard from arcom since like beginning of aug when i got the primary received email.

7/15. So it took over a month.

Seems like you're right in that window still. Maybe reach out to them next week if you don't hear back by then?

Hello everyone, I saw on here that ARCOM sends you a thank you letter after your interview. I haven't received one yet (Interviewed 9/2), should I be concerned that I will not be acceptant? ARCOM is my number one choice. I am preparing for bad news but god I want that A.

I interviewed 9/2 as well and haven’t received one.
 
My interview is next week. This is my first in person interview and im super nervous! can anyone give me advice or share how their interview went?

9/2 interview and I didn't receive a note either. All I've gotten since was an invite to an ACHE roadshow info session.

They send you a schedule the day before which lists your interviewers. I googled them before to better make connections. No portfolio required. Best wishes!
 
do people wear masks to the interviews? this is my first in person interview so im not sure the protocol

It was a very conversational interview, I would suggest going over the SDN feedback interview answers and having an idea of what to expect and how to answer. I would no suggest memorizing but having an idea of what to talk about. The interview is closed file, so the faculty member and member of the community should not know about you. Relax and be yourself, and feel proud to reach this far and enjoy your time there! You got this!

Anybody have stats on how many applications they receive each year? I was told around 5400 and a 1.7% overall acceptance rate at my interview, just wondering!
 
Anyone know when we should receive the official acceptance email to pay the deposit?

I got it within a week. I got a letter in the mail this weekend.
If you refresh your portal, it should change to an acceptance checklist.
 
hi guys I just submitted the secondary to ARCOM late yesterday night. I still haven’t heard back. I’ve been reading on here that you guys get interviews like 1 hour later after submitting. Is it true you automatically get an interview after the secondary or not always.

it took me 2 days to get an interview after submitting the secondary
 
Do y'all know of any new interview dates getting added? I can't make it to any of the ones available right now

I would email/call as soon as you can. I would make time to go if I were you. Especially if you have actual interest to go to the school. Based on the people that interviewed, most of them are getting accepted. There will come a point where they will start scrutinizing applicants more/interviewing for waitlist.

I couldn’t make it to the dates given because of my job and when I called them they were very understanding and kind and provided me with a few more dates. They registered me for my date over the phone, since it wasn’t available to me in the portal.
