2022-2023 Drexel

Current M1 as well. I was complete in August, silence till March when I received an II, waitlisted in early May, and accepted in July. It’s a long road, but hang in there!
Were you out of state? I'm curious what it would be like to drop everything in July to try to get moved somewhere before classes started a month later.

@ anyone who interviewed on 9/19, did they tell you when we’re gonna hear back? I know it’s after 10/15, but was wondering if anyone heard a specific date, thanks in advance!

Yes, from NC. It was a chaotic 3 weeks, but much better than the alternative of re-writing secondaries.

I also want to point out that Drexel is receptive of update letters. I sent one in March and received an II one week later. I sent a letter of intent in late June (after I was waitlisted) and was accepted shortly after. If you don’t hear anything after several months of being complete, I’d recommend sending one in. It may draw attention to your app among the other 16,000 that Drexel receives and could be the difference between you being accepted or not.

How are you all listing chemistry courses for the pre-recs? I have two semesters of gen chem, two semesters of orgo, and biochem, but they only allow for 3 courses to be added. Is it okay if I omit one semester of each so I can fit in biochem?

i added gen chem II, orgo II - assumed they would know i took gen chem I if im reporting II and put my biochem lab in the lab section

i added gen chem II, orgo II, and a physical chem class - assumed they would know i took gen chem I if im reporting II and put my biochem lab in the lab section. left the community and clinical ones blank because i don't have courses like that so hopefully that's not a bad thing :/
thanks, I'll do that but with biochem

I was complete in mid July and have not received a hold yet. Do ya’ll think this a bad or good sign?

Does anyone with an early interview remember when Brian said decisions would be released? I recall him saying they are trying something new and we should hear back on October 17th, and if not then in November. Anyone else have similar or different information?

Allie led my interview day and they didn't mention a timeline, but they said that they aim to release decisions on Fridays. Last cycle the End-of-September interviewees heard back at the very end of October, so based on that I was guessing October 21st or 28th. My understanding was that everyone would hear something, but those whose decisions are deferred will be re-reviewed with every following group. If anyone heard any better information on their interview day please fill me in!

Complete last week and placed on hold today

Complere 9/23 and have not been put on hold or anything.
