Do you mind sharing your stats ? You can DM if you want.

I was complete 8/3 and just crickets!!!
Not at all. LM and WARS in signature. OOS, 512 -> 515 (512 was expiring for some schools) and ~3.9 for both cumulative and science.

What is the earliest date available for the interview, if you don't mind sharing. Thank you.
I didn't get to pick a day. They send you an email with a date and you have to accept it or ask for a different date. Nov. 3 was the date.

For those that have interviewed, what time did interview day begin? The only information in the email was that interviews take place between 12-3 PM EST but surely there is a welcome presentation and all of that, right? Thank you!

Did they put you on hold last time before II ?
No I was not on hold. Good news is that many people who were on hold also received II later on and got accepted while I stayed in the waitlist pool

So I am interviewing this week and there is no presentation. They sent me a time for my Thursday interview yesterday (Monday) with an EST time and zoom link. There are videos to watch online if you choose (links in the GW admissions portal) and I went to an event on campus that is optional. I am assuming they will have a few through the app cycle but don't quote me on that.

Put on Hold (don't know when) (complete 8/3)

Do they put mostly everyone on hold ?

like said above- my interview was under 30 mins, scheduled between those hours

How was your experience going to the in person optional event? I am debating going but I live far.

II — don’t really know when my status changed, but I just checked my portal today. Haven’t received an official email yet. Complete 8/9
Congrats! Mind breaking down stats please? You can dm if you want

And were you on hold previously?

Did anyone else notice their portal change before getting an interview invite?

Yes mine said something like I was going to be invited to interview soon and there was nothing else to do on my part. It was a full week before I got the email with interview date

I was not put on hold last year
WOW, I am guessing you improved your app this time around but they don't seem to like you as much compared to last cycle to give u an interview this time around. Another reason why the whole application process is crapshoot.

I will caveat this by saying I live about a 30 minute metro ride into GW, so for me it was a no-brainer to attend. I thought it was really fun to get to see it all in person. It feels a lot more tangible now. I think seeing so many students, faculty, and special offices/support gave me a good feel for the culture. GW has always been one of my top schools, and this visit really solidified that for me. We got take a tour of the medical school, meet other interviewees, ask so many questions. If it is a top choice, I would go for it. They did say they will do a second look in the spring for accepted applicants also if you'd rather wait.
